I really loved Nightwatching! I was GRIPPED for the first half of the book and freaking out. I hope you enjoy! I also love that your boyfriend's mom likes to read too and you are bonding over it.

Your comment about Birnam Wood is so relatable, I keep seeing great reviews but when I checked out the plot of the book I was like „huh?! Is this the right book“😂

Unmissing sounds like really interesting read. I love stories about people who disappear and then return after many years.

A Simple Plan is so good. Movie is great as well but the book is a bit darker. Enjoy.

Sally Hepworth is a well-known Australian author. She typically writes domestic suspense. She’s touring the US at the moment for her latest book, Darling Girls.

I just finished End of Story. The premise ticked all my boxes, but in the end, the story didn't sit right with me.

I highly recommend The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth. It’s one of my favorite thrillers. I’m definitely going to try the other one you mentioned!

If you want a really good chiller novel to keep you cool during the worst season of the year, I would highly recommend Road of Bones by Christopher Golden. Set in Siberia way below freezing. Very cool and creepy story, I think you would really enjoy it!

Junji Ito's work is a mixed bag for me too. I personally didn't like his version of Frankenstein, but I did enjoy some of his works published in North America afterward like Lovesickness and Mimi's Tales of Terror.

Someone please tell me what she says 0:05 after the "Hello everyone, welcome back to..." As a non-English native speaker, I've been trying to figure it out for so long lol

Hello! I apologize about that. I said "Welcome back to where we sometimes talk about thrillers on Thursdays." I say that because I review a lot of thriller novels, but I don't always have time to post every week.
