That’s one of my favourite Big Train sketches… Maybe only second to the foul mouthed Florence Nightingale skit Big train was lucky to have such a troupe of skilled actors/ comedians - and writers

I think it's the most original sketch I've ever seen, though I think it's funnier without the 'presentation' bit at the end - all the comedic points are already made.

If memory serves, the two scenes don't actually follow each other like this. The first part takes place early in the episode and the 2nd part with the cheque presentation is at the end of the episode, like a little call-back.
