This is really great timing releasing this video! I spend the spring and summer outdoors with calisthenics and sports. In a few weeks I'll return to the gym to combine weights and bw. Sure is common for others too. I will absolutely be applying this to the end of my workouts! Also, of course, the teachings behind the why and how is super helpful as always. Thank you!

Whenever i try to stay consistent with my training i fall sick,i came to this conclusion that my immunity is very weak and since it has to recover my muscles,i get prone to sickness (This has been happening for literal years,im 18 now i have been training inconsistently due to this factor for years) I finally decided to bring my intensity super low and build up very slowly,lets see if this works for me and i dont fall sick due to training hard in the near future , I wrote this a few days ago,and now im sick,it didn't work Does any of you have any suggestions pls let me know

You will surely need a plane for your self specifically including foods and habits that betters your immunity although I,m just a random guy saying this it,s better to go to a doctor and describe the problems with doctor who is and expert in that and has helped people like you just ask that doctor and he will give you what exactly works best for you By the way I,m just random guy I also don't have that strong immunity I,m 17 yo and I am going to start my journey for muscle building and bulking btw sorry for bad grammar

I know it's supposed to be dumbbell only, but since you included bodyweight, I think the pelican curl you've shown in other vids is a really good stretch at lengthened position but also has the fully extended arms behind you. I've done a banded version that, even though it's not optimal, I really feel in my biceps when I curl with my arms behind. I've started to see results, generally my biceps are my hardgainer. Totally worth it standing also.

I’m wondering why you advise to keep the body straight for the BW skullcrushers. I’ve been using bomb dive form for over 15 years with excellent results. I find the movement more natural and the load at stretched position greater. You can also progress those much easier when you are at the last step and your elbows almost touch the floor: just widen your feet to make them easier, and as you progress, bring your feet closer together until they touch (you can also drop set this way, but in reverse and in one set). With feet elevated, this makes even more sense, the alignment is perfect and the stretch at the bottom is insane

Love your vids. If you're lucky enough to have a rack or an option to use rings...dips on them are a killer workout, night & day difference. I do most of the workouts that you mentioned but the last set is a drop set, I keep 10kg and 7.5kg dumbells nearby to murder the muscle completely on the last set of each exercise. You can really feel the burn and the goosebumps, best feeling ever :D

Nothing has hit my biceps like incline and preacher curls and nothing has hit my triceps like overhead extensions(and yes, I do a lot of dips). Pro tip: do some curls with a reverse grip for extra forearm gains and include some wrist curls in your program. Good forearms completely change the overall look of your arms.
@DanCantStandYA

Triceps extension with rings (specifically one ring) is a much better way. Great for core as well. Dips are better with rings too. I know it says dumbells only, but he is using benches. Rings and a door pull up bar are cheaper than a quality bench.
Hey bro, I love your videos. I noticed when I do full ROM bicep curls, i get a really sore elbow ditch and the tendons tend to feel inflamed for 4-5 days afterwards. So I use partial reps which gives me a little progression, but I havent been able to see significant growth in my biceps for years. Any advice on my ROM or progression to feel these exercises purely in my bicep? I can only do 20 lbs dumbells or up to 60 lbs on the machine . I dont want to risk tearing my bicep.

This video is pure gold, 9999 fine. I’m doing most of these exercises and will be making some adjustments. I noticed you raise the upper arms in the bicep curls, wouldn’t there be even more tension keeping them vertical? For the skull crushers, I was taught by dr Mike to keep the elbows close to each other while yours are rather flared. Would you say this doesn’t matter much or is it up to personal preference?

Is using an arm blaster an adequate substitute for a preacher curl when an incline bench isn’t available ?
@Soccasteve
Күн бұрын
Eh, arm blaster is fine but if you wanted something similar to an incline curl you can do a Meadows curl. Basically just an elbow supprted seated db curl. You can do it either facing away on a lat pull-down or preacher bench.
