How is the performance of the screen? I'm currently using a TFT35 display from BTT with a BTT Pi and it is almost impossible to scroll down lists, it feels like 5 FPS and the touch itself is not very reliable (even after calibration).

Hey, it performs well. After some initial WiFi issues which I believe now was my network rather than caused by the screen. It has been very reliable, touch is always spot on and the few times I've scrolled through menus it's been ok.

Hello there. Any updates on the coreXY idex printer?

Hi, Unfortunately that project was stopped a while ago. It did work great for copy or mirror prints but getting the 2 nozzles aligned was at the time not an easy process. Both the X/Y and Z adjustment was tricky, with the use of a camera the X/Y would be easier now but the tech has moved on and I don't have the time or will to try it again. Thanks for the comment and if you have build it, please let me know how its going. Regards, James.

@@Rushmere3D Thanks a lot for replying. I am planning to scratch build a fast coreXY idex machine. I could find very little information on corexy XY kinematics for idex with 3 or 4 motors. Any reference for that will be of utmost help.

Thank you James for that. I do have an old 7" genuine Raspberry Pi Display, which connects to a pi with the ribbon cable. Do you have any reason to think that it would not work?

Hi Graham, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Connect it up and get klipperscreen installed to find out. J

Great video. Audio is a little quiet though. Or I did something to the audio on my PC,

Thanks for letting me know, I might have had my volume down when I edited it 😞. Need to work on my video production a bit, 😂.

Thank you James. I am just starting my Voron 2.4 build and just received the screen today. I have a couple longer ribbon cables for the RPi but was thinking I would need to figure out auxiliary power from the 6 pin connector. It is nice to know it runs off the ribbon cable alone.

Hey, that's awesome. I really like having the interface at the printer. So I'm aware I didn't go into the software setup but it's pretty simple, plug it in and copy a few commands in the terminal. You may have to troubleshoot it if it doesn't show straight away but that's super easy via the klipper screen website. If you need any help, drop me a message here or join my discord discord.com/invite/93WXgg3e. Thanks, James.
