I loved how bright the dash was! And apparently so were the head lights 😂. Wonder if she'll start feeling uncomfortable with the sporty riding position amidst a long ride?

Hi guys, l have had a few of the older Z650's as loan bikes and they are great fun lightweight bikes. Perfect for Jodie but then she did look very good on that Hornet 500. Look forward to the next choice you guys make 👍

Thanks, Mark. I do agree she does look great on the hornet ! I think she liked the extra poke from the Z though 🤔

both great bikes. I did my training and past my test on the Kawasaki Z650. a few years ago. sadly at the time my funds didn't allow me to buy one for myself. cant wait to see what you try next.

Nick, maybe you should try the W800, if you can get a ride on one. Great to hear you two back on form and back on motorcycles, in the last 4 videos. 👍

I test rode the Z650RS at seastars lovely bike but I found the seat a bit buzzy. I love the green and gold wheels. The Z900RS is mega powerful. On them roads be careful 😊

Ended up with the CB750 Hornet as first big bike. Kwaks, Yammys & Hondas all similar. Honda’s give more bang for your buck imo

Don’t rule out the Z650 for being “too small”-or the Z650RS for being “too big”-just yet. Try adjusting the handlebars for a better fit. You’d be surprised how even a small pivot forward or back can make a big change in how the bike feels, both in terms of comfort and in terms of ride/balance/handling. Both bikes are very similar under the skin-engine, frame, etc.-so they should ride and handle almost identically, assuming similar suspension settings. The RS probably has taller handlebars, making it feel more upright and less wristy than the Z650. And handlebars can be switched out pretty easily, especially on a naked bike. And yes! Try the Z900/Z900RS! The inline 4 is a Kawasaki specialty, going back to the early 1970s. It has a different experience than the inline twin, with smooth power delivery around town, opening up to a wonderful scream further up. It’s delicious!

Mind the RUST on the exhaust ( front down.... of the blue bike - RS ) ! - maybe they have tendency to get rusty there.... But yes - if you ( both ) are happy with the chassis / shocks / forks / ergo.... can be a good choice. These have ~ 42000 km between vale checks.....! WOOOPS - my bad - it's 24000km 😱😱 - same as the CB/NX500 .....F..ck !!!!! - some places it's 24000km, some 42000km .... WTF - you better find out - pretty properly - I'm confused 🤪 👈

Great review. I'm 5ft 6. and fancy the rs retro. Do you mind if I ask your height and how you felt seat height wise on the bike. I know I can't flat foot it, did you find that a problem?

I'm 5ft9 29 inch inner leg. Felt fine on it. Didn't feel too high and the bike is very light. I'd say ball of feet but not both flat.
