Just completed a byron bay to steep point via flinders ranges due to the Simpson being flooded on my drz400. I put an Anderson plug on my battery externally, mounted a bracket on the helmet locking thing. So I didn’t have to take it apart to access the battery to jump start. I cut the alligator clips off the jump pack. Made it easy to start when my battery died. Just a tip. Enjoy the trip.

Thanks mate That’s a shame, even off Upper Ormeau rd? I haven’t been up there in 6 months or so. The power bank in the tank bag went ok but I’m yet to find one that works really well. Hi how come you had two different number plates with totally different details on them? Here in the UK you get one plate and that's it for life unless you purchase a private plate. I'm confused!
@6226superhurricane
Жыл бұрын
everytime a vehicle is registered it gets a number plate so if you change states and register it in a different state you'll get a new number plate. if the vehicle is unregistered for 3 months it has to be reregistered and you get a new plate. you can also just pat a fee and change the plates and register a vehicle with new plates. it makes no difference as your name and vehicle details are tied to the number plate immediately at issue. the police have cameras that read the plate and all that info comes up on their screen.
@701Adventures
Жыл бұрын
@@6226superhurricaneFair enough, it seems a bit of a farce having to do all that but if that's the process, then that's the process. Thankfully we don't have to change our plates here in the UK when travelling between County's or even Country's. 👍
@6226superhurricane
Жыл бұрын
@@701Adventures you only change plates if you move to another state and live there. the only other time you'd have to change plates is if you let the vehicle sit unregistered too long at that stage it needs to be reregistered and and a new plate is issued. so a vehicle can have the same plate forever.
@_JoshJB_
Жыл бұрын
Hey mate I only got a new number plate as my one was damaged from off-road abuse. If I wanted the same combination I would of had to order it and wait. It was easier to just get a replacement with a different combination.
