This was a trip that I did a couple of years ago. At the time, Storm Ciara was on the way, but I was about to go in for a big operation, and I wanted to squeeze in a tiny trip before that, as I knew it'd stop me in my tracks for at least a few months. It was my younger brother's birthday, so I rode to Leicester to see him and the family, and join in the party. The whole trip was 40 miles, over two days, with one camp night and a slap-up breakfast - a mini, easy-peasy trip, in just "ordinary" landscape, but 100% enjoyable. The footage is a bit shaky, but hope you like the film!
Big thank you to my nephew Jack Thornton who wrote and performed the music. You can see him at the end of the film.
Best wishes everyone! And take care in these strange times!
