Bike is the best way to travel. Slow enough to really experience the surrounding and fast enough to get places. 🙂

Hello Thomas! Yes it is!! You are also out in the open and people tend to come up and want to speak with you which is pretty neat too. We've learned so much about a place while talking with locals that I am sure we would have missed out on if we were just another car driver on the road. Happy Cycle Touring to you and Cheers from Alaska!! ~Ron

Many thanks and happy to share! I have the bikes geared pretty good for long climbs with all the gear, so the knees are good, but our quads are beat up!! :-) Thank you for cheering us on and please keep it up! :-) Cheers from Alaska! ~Ron & Petra

Thank you Vinaykumar! Appreciate the feedback and yeah I know this one is a short video and they should get longer and better as we get in less remote areas. Trying to put these together in a tent with no electric requires me to work fast and then, when I find WiFi I get them uploaded. Cheers from Alaska and again thank you! ~Ron :-)

Thank you again for sharing. Doing my best to tell others about you very impressive trek. I truly appreciate the effort and time it takes to make these videos, especially with such limited resources at it relates to power and connectivity. Are you using any type of solar power? Enjoy and travel safe, Ted’s Trek

Thank you Ted and thank you again for sharing our adventure! Hope others find it helpful and entertaining as well! No no solar but our front hubs are SON generator hubs and this allows us to recharge small devices and I run my Garmin with them! For the computer, I’ll work from it until it’s dead and then I recharge it whenever I can! ~Ron

Looks like the legendary mosquitos are kicking in. I'd really like a close up of the road surface you're going through as a reference while it lasts, maybe the drone could give a birds eye view of it? Cheering you on from the 48!

Hello Sean thank you for tuning in! Yeah the mosquitos got their fare share of blood from us that's for sure! I'll see what I can do about getting you a closer look at the road surface. Cheers from Alaska! ~Ron

Looking forward to some more video once you get to the land of infrastructure. How often do you have to put up with an 18 wheeler dusting you off?
@PedalPowerTouring

Many thanks Rudy! We only got dusted a couple times that we can recall. North of Atigun Pass it was too wet and overall, the truckers were really good to us on the Dalton. ~Ron
