One of my best line company leaders was a Registered Nurse. Yeah, we'd help out in personal time, to avoid legislated law. Me, just get a national security letter, call it a day. I liked the Nurse better, who was a Platoon Sergeant of infantry. Why do so many people find it impossible or grudgingly a problem to feed the many in a nation of plenty, when things turn into shit? This veteran wants to know.

I would expect this from bikers- they are very decent people. During the pandemic in my local community there were bikers delivering food and groceries to the elderly and the sick. They patrol the routes to school so kids get to and from school safely. I have even seen bikers go into late night supermarkets to ensure the female staff get home safely. Trust me- they don't take no for an answer. They always ensure the young lady gets home safely. We need more like them!

How do you stand up for yourself when kids GANG UP on you? What, is their some hidden gene you tap into within yourself we don't know about that transforms you into Bruce Fuckin' Lee? One on one, it's fair. You can stand up for yourself then. But when you get GANGED UP ON, it's time for others to involve themselves to equal situations out a little bit. I was bullied when I was a child, I hated it very much. Bullying is something you may never forget till the victim becomes strong enough to fight back. It's saddening because I never even said a cuss word in my childhood or use any manner of disrespect till I learnt to grow up. I became a little aggressive like a bully but I never hang out with bullies at all! I just hang out with children who remind me of myself because I didn't want them to be bullied the same way. It makes me very very happy to see these bikers rescue that little girl from her trouble and build a wonderful friendship with her, there's no telling what effect those bullies might've had on her. @Los Fromla: I think you've just taken his anecdote and deliberately turned it on its head to cause a debate lol. I'm British and even I can see that drawing their tasers or their head exploding .45's is what they often do first. If you're a copper in a country where you don't KNOW who's got a gun (meaning the safest way to think is: "Everybody is armed"), are you really gonna be that copper who's dumb enough to try arresting a potentially armed suspect by "tackling him"? Your career would probably be over before your 3rd arrest (as in you were mortally wounded). In other countries that have much tighter gun regulations (such as UK, which abolished its version of "the 2nd ammendment" around the 70's or 80's, after ONE school & village shooting massacre) its different. In these countries, the police CAN be armed, but they only deploy in special situations, and its obvious why, we're not living in a country where EVERY SINGLE PERSON (even that old lady over there) could be packing a WWII P48. In UK its still relatively easy to get a gun (its just a LOT more expensive) but the rate of shootings and fatal shootings in UK is likely so much less than America that it isn't even "a figure". So, coppers in US being quick to draw just seems like insurance; nothing to do with being a pussy, just a logical decision.

You can’t always rely on people.: you gotta save yourself mate.. I did.. and they respected me for it.. wasn’t bullied after it.. now u gotta atleast make him feel it.. if they beat the crap out of you, no respect will come with it. so you gotta atleast make them feel that shit.. the guy( this was in 6th grade) was just trying to pick a fight for no fucking reason only to look hard or had problems at home which is sad but inexcusable, nobody stood up after a min and so I did.. bear in mind I was a small kid with glasses. I just took em off, and we started swinging.. never bothered us again.. last for a while.. dude said he won but he never bothered us so I don’t really care as much..

Laughed when the guy admitted that he was actually a nurse. He had this just wonderful smile on his face and you can see the goodness in his eyes and the eyes of the other men who helped this young girl. God bless you men! I've heard of a biker club that also does this kind of advocacy to help abused animals. You are all just amazing! Kids who get bullied could really benefit from programs to help them learn how to stand up for themselves effectively. There are many different techniques, and any child can learn them.

I am old now but in my youth I was the victim (?) Of domestic violence. Shortly after that I began dating a "biker" now this was a young man that my conventional parents feared. He was tall, long blonde hair and rode a Harley. He traded me like a queen I respected me and my personal space. He was 18 years younger. He was all the things that conventional wisdom would judge. 30 years later he is still my best friend. As they say don't judge a book by its cover

When I very little the Hell's Angels had a clubhouse behind our house, they were very nice to us, my 3 brother's and I we loved them. If there was going to be a party or meeting, they would tell my parents so they could make sure we were in the house after a certain time. They used to bring us candy, ice cream, my parents weren't part of their gang, they just looked out for us kids. It was nothing for us to walk outside and see my dad under a car or checking a bike, with 2 or 3 of the guys talking to him, dad was a mechanic. As I got older, I read about the troubles they had with the law, but I've never forgotten the kindness they showed my brothers and I, the one's behind us were very good people.

Hell's Angels and the Punishers are completely different. The Angels are a 1%er gang. 1%er gangs rob, rape, kill, steal, vandalize, put drugs and guns on the street. As well as hookers. Not all motorcycle clubs are bad. Just the ones that are 1%er because of what I said earlier. If you wanna be a sucker and listen to their brainwashed/mind control manipulation then go for it. There is a sucker born every minute...js

While motorcycle groups may look tough, many of them are very kindhearted and giving. Case in point, I volunteer every summer at a camp for pediatric cancer patients/survivors, and every year, a group of Harley owners comes to camp to have lunch with the kids, let them check out the motorcycles, and give the camp a monetary donation raised from raffling off motorcycles. I also imagine what the situation might be like if the bullies tried to pull off such a stunt again: "Hey, let's go beat up that girl again!" (Sees a line of motorcyclists, arms crossed, stern expressions on their faces) "...Ooooooon second thought, let's just go home and play XBox."

My older brother was a biker , along with his circle of friends. My high school was kinda rough around the edges , but nobody - and I mean nobody - busted my balls or roughed me up because they knew who he was. School bullies are cowardly like that - they don't want a fight they want a victim. In my experience bikers have been some of the best people I've ever known , & I'm not surprised at all by this great story.

I am Old, Born in the early 60s. I grew up in my Dads Machine Shop. We worked on Motorcycle Cylinders/Cranks and Forks. I grew up around many, many Bikers! They were good people, (I grew up in a Small Town in Montana). The Local Biker Clubs, (like the Hells Angels), were not what you expected.. once again... this was a small town... so they were part of us. As to my dad, we owned the only cycle track in that part of the state, 80 acres of Circle tracks/hill climbs and the all new, (in the 60s), Moto Cross tracks... I was so Blessed to grow up with dirt bikes like that... God Bless America! and the Bikers I grew up around!

kudos to the bikers, but no 5 year old especially a special needs child should be walking to/from school alone period. We live in a world where kids come up missing like that. I don't care how close the school is get your lazy behind up and walk your child to school. Hell, my mom watched us until we were 14, 15 and 16 years old. This world isn't safe so what the hell were the parents thinking?!
