The C&O Canal Towpath is 185 miles of historic trail between Cumberland, Md., and Washington, D.C. Ride along with Bike-the-GAP.com (bit.ly/2j5fxOb) on Day 3 of the C&O Towpath self-guided tour, taking riders from Harpers Ferry to Georgetown, then into Washington, D.C. to find Mile Marker 0.
Day 3 is our last day on the trail but has some of the best things to see, including the Catoctin Creek and Monocacy Aqueducts, Great Falls Park, White's Ferry, and the end of the trail at the Thompson Boat Center.
