Real life is the most balanced game, ever. I hear game developers talk about how balanced a game is. Is it too heavily weighted towards this or that. Balance is so important. Mother Nature has created the most balanced survival game on the planet; in the universe, if you account for the stray asteroid or exploding star threats. Nothing in nature is immune to chance. And nothing has a perfect kill ratio. Mosquitos have their Achilles heel. Or everybody would have dropped dead by now. Man has his Achilles heel. Or there wouldn't be a global pandemic now. There is no amount of hubris that will guarantee that there are no unbalancing side effects to Re-Engineering Mosquitos. Mother Nature does have a way of balancing the scales if thing start to get out of hand. She will even make a new rule when necessary. Extinction is her trump card. Last week Florida authorized the release of 750 Million Genetically Engineered Mosquitos in the Florida Keys! AAAAAAaaaaaaa!!!!!!! DURING A PANDEMIC!!! Harris County, Texas did the same thing.... I'm sure they accounted for the fact that they are both located in hurricane ally. There's no way those mosquitos are going to get spread beyond their test areas.

The problem with comedians like Bill Burr is that a lot of people take it the wrong way and don't realize he's kidding. And you can see that in the comments section of every video of him. Mosquitos are definitely changing! When I was a kid mosquitos used to be huge and they’d land and crawl around on you but wouldn’t bite unless they found a vein then they’d bite that so you had a chance to kill before it bites. These days the mosquitos are tiny, smaller than flies, and they’ll just land anywhere on you and bite right away whether there’s a vein or not so you’ll just get random bites all over your ankle or whatever and the mosquito might not even get any blood. It’s very annoying because they’re harder to kill, they bite more, and they they’re not even efficient about it. Pure pests

Gene editing is my number one fear for the human race moving forward. Gene editing will get so sophisticated that people will be able to make designer humans and God knows what else on Earth perverting what took millions and millions of years to make through natural selection. The difference is we don't have an understanding of nature like we think we do. And eventually it will come down where making humans in a certain way with certain traits and blah blah blah blah blah and before you know it the superstructure is more streamlined AND WEAKEND.. worse than that people with money the new gods will be able to make their children because they'll be able to go to the best scientist and they can get their kids with the best looks the best longevity the biggest brains and they'll be a true breakaway civilization the rest of us average m************ will just be true second citizens. People are in a f****** hurry because they think they understand yes they do understand how to do what they're doing but they can't tell me they understand what will happen 10 12 40 60 80 100 generations out in the wild.
