Bill I've been a music person and an amateur guitarist most of my life. You are my favorite guitarist and my favorite musician. You're sense of music is pretty different than others. You're phrasing, your experimentation...you are very very much like a painter. Sometimes pretty realistic, sometimes abstract, sometimes both. I saw you at a "meet the artist" gathering a couple years ago. I told you that my opinion was that it appeared as if you had never heard of other guitarists. You made a self-deprecating joke but I was serious. You seem unbound by what others have done; what is "proper". It's as if you grew up on Krypton, and someone dropped down a guitar and a bunch of records...Americana, blues, traditional jazz, rock, bebop, folk....and you just listened a lot and played a lot, never knowing that on other planets guitarists were doing certain things certain ways. And then you got on a ship to earth. Bill, that's one of the rarest things in art; having such a truly unique voice. Right? Not only instantly recognizable (when I hear a new song, the first two notes I know its Bill Frisell)...but also in what you have to say with that voice. You are a remarkable musician. What I consider the highest form of human being. Those that can express the best of our humanity back to us...true creativity. Your body of work is really astonishing. You have been a major force and a "companion" in my musical journey and my life for decades. Thanks Bill.

Technical problems meant this was delayed until the very small hours here in the UK. I slept through a lot of it so it's good to see again. Thanks for posting.

I know this is 4 years later haha but the second song is "Levees." It's one of Bill's tunes. He has a version on his album, Valentine. I posted the whole setlist in a comment.
