46:49 - Brilliant fking words Ozzy. Brought a tear to my eye. You are absolutely right man. Best part of this whole podcast today. The Beatles were like the musical answer saying that Britain had recovered from WW2. They were the voice of a nation of young people who had been born into hell and grew up emerging as battered, but victorious. The Beatles came along and said everything is going to be ok. Maybe. Hi Osbournes! I am English and have lived in the US for 30 years (I'm 51 now) and condidering moving home to Sussex. I LOVE your podcast show and I think have seen every one now! This one had me in tears, I don't know why and I don't cry often! At the end where you talk about WWII and The Beatles really got me. I was raised on the Beatles and couldn't imagine what live would be like if they never excisted! Their music got me though EVERY circumstance in my life, happy or sad. My Mum (same age as you guys) used to listen to it all the time in our early years when my Dad was alive. He sadly died very young of prostate cancer in his early 30's leaving my Mummy to raise us 3 girls alone but with the help of her parents, my Grandparents, and my Dad's parents. My Grandpa's on both sides served in WWII and we'd hear all the stories. So I think this episode really brought all those memories back! Happy or sad, until social media, music got us through right? Love all of you so much and thank you for some nostalgia! PS Kelly I have always admired you soooo much since you were little! You are amazing to me. BIG LOVE Ozzy's xxx

Great topic Osbournes! Haley Mills was a really good teen actress from the UK who was super well known in the ‘60’s. My fav film she was in was “The Trouble with Angels”. I agree here with everything the Osbournes say about the best movies, the end of mystery and romance in the film industry-especially with the Oscar’s. One of my fav movies is “To Sir With Love” with the singer Lulu and “Guess Whose Coming to Dinner” also starring Sydney Poitier.

If you look at the footage of when the Beatles arrive in America for the first time to appear on T.V. the fans were so effected, I mean the young people looked like they were going insane, girls fainting, out of breath and crying reaching out to just try to touch even the essence of the band...you can even FEEL it NOW through the screen. It was literally like a awakening of something deep inside of us all. And regardless if you now like their music or not you MUST be able to appreciate the effect they had on people and should want to check these movies out. Its like how did these 4 insanely talented people ever all be born at the right times, live by one another, become friends, and become a band ? There are SO many fantastic singers/bands in the world and we all have our favorites but I believe the Beatles were kind of the starting point of all Rock-N-Roll(MANY genres) here in America anyway. This is just what I think anyway. BTW I think you guys are by far one of the BEST podcasts out there! I love you ALL!

40:11 My husband would be the perfect OZZY in the movie!!! My husband not only looks like him but sings like him and moves like him and acts like him. He was in Ozzy & Black Sabbath tribute bands for over 10 years too🤘🏻💜

@@Mythicalbeast_KatieWilson I’m going to try to get one of his videos on YT. I’ll try to find the one when he sang with Lita Ford “Close My Eyes Forever”. Lita called him “Ozzy Jr” 😊

4:16. Punch Drunk Love - Sandler's first attempt at drama 7:01 Edge Of Tomorrow - you take Tom Cruise, Groundhog Day & Starship Troopers, mix it together & you have Edge Of Tomorrow. 11:26 favorite movie experience: 1997 Star Wars The Special Edition. Late show on opening day. Absolute bat-shit madness. Theater was sold out - when the doors opened to let people in, it was insane. It made a Slayer mosh pit look like rush hour at a nursing home. I will never forget it because there was a guy that sprinted down the aisle & dove, head first, into the third row, stood up & got him & his four friends third row seats. Rocky IV was another great experience. 21:11 Schindler's List is a rough movie to watch but should be required viewing for every human being to watch at least once. The Godfather Part II is one of the greatest sequels in film history. Eastwood is a great director & an okay actor. At least he was Dirty Harry. 26:00 Worst movies: Smokey & The Bandit 3, Superman IV, Batman & Robin, the list goes on & on. 27:21 Some of the best of Robin Williams: Moscow On The Hudson, Death Of A Salesman, Awakenings, Good Will Hunting, The Fisher King, Mrs. Doubtfire, What Dreams May Come & The Birdcage. 28:57 FuckThe Academy. Decades ago winning the Oscar meant something for the quality of work you are nominated for. In today's world there is so much political correctness & overall bullshit, it kills the creativity process. 35:10 RDJ was nominated for supporting actor for his role in Tropic Thunder. 35:54 Mickey Rooney in The Apartment. 37:27 Steve Martin in The Jerk! 38:03 Blazing Saddles is awesome! 38:18 Django Unchained is a great Tarantino film but some scenes are rough to watch. 40:49 😂😂😂😂 41:47 Memphis Belle! I was working at my local theater when it came out. Saw that a few times. I even got the poster. 43:03 The Beatles movies should take the place of the Marvel movies. 45:49 I agree w/ Jack on The Beatles. Love'em. Mad respect for the boys. I just don't have any Cd's. 50:22 Clark Gable!😂 50:41 Christopher Lee was cousins w/ Ian Fleming the author of the James Bond novels. 51:30 Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Alien movies. 51:42 Uh, no Jack you wouldn't have ruined it. That's Disney's job.😊 52:10 Ozzy played an Evangelist in the 1986 film Trick or Treat. 52:16 Bull. Shit!! How do you get over w/ Monty Python?! You don't.
