Hi Damian, and Bill Jnr, I was fortunate enough to meet Bill Snr around 1980 in Liverpool UK when he played a cabaret club I worked, I served him a bottle of scotch and a bucket of ice, I remember him being an absolutely charming gentleman and I became a fan, I’m now 60 years old, I have a lefty Gretsch 6118 and love playing rock n roll music, keep up the great work guys

I love how despite his difficult relationship with his father, he still pays tribute to him. He still has some fond memories he holds onto. He has an appreciation for his father's talents and who he was to his fans. I feel like there is a lot of healing and forgiveness that has happened with Bill Haley Jr. It's really quite amazing. When I was first becoming interested in rockabilly, Bill Haley and His Comets were one of my favorite bands! It warms my heart to see this wonderful music still being performed decades later by some amazing musicians!

Thank you for the interview. I, along with a bunch of rock n roll dancers, saw Bill Haley Jr and the Comets in New Zealand in 2014. It was a fantastic show and we came away feeling really happy. In the foyer Bill and the band sat down at some tables and were kind enough to talk with us and answer some questions. If they are in your area don't miss them. Yes, we bought the CD..

Killer interview!! Just think for a second; we wouldn’t have had a British Invasion without Bill Haley, Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis. That’s how important these artists were in England back then. They inspired The Beatles, Stones, The Who, Animals, etc etc.

Awesome interview, thanks for sharing! I'm a huge fan of Bill Haley & the Comets and I got excited towards the end when he mentioned documentary. My thoughts have always been "biopic," this guy needs a biopic! I'm always saddened to learn that many famous people whom I admire artistically turn out to be not the best fathers or husbands, etc. Bill seemed like the perfect gentleman, always very professional when performing and doing interviews. I'm sure fame takes its toll on artists and their families. I would love to see Bill Jr in concert, I'm glad that he's keeping the music alive. Great upload!

Raising young children with so much doom, filth, depression and garbage on the radio, my wife and I gave our children the gift of a fun, simple musical experience when they were little. Bill Haley was one of the main Go-To cd’s of the collection. With the oldschool rock n roll, we didn’t have to censor and skip songs that were kid-inappropriate.

For sure Bill Haley was one of the real pioneers of rock and roll. This fact must never be forgotten. Unluckily Bill Haley was a chain smoker and heavy drinker. Would Rudy have died of lung cancer if Bill hadn`t smoked?
