Always, always impressed with Bill. As an artist and a human being, so real and honest. Hang in there Bill, you aren't alone in your struggles with this crazy world and fucked up human condition we are blessed and cursed with. This quote from Indian philosopher and mystic Krishnamurti, always gives me immense comfort when I'm struggling (which is like ALWAYS!)... "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." Great wisdom to meditate on. Good work James 🙏

Really loved what you said about not judging people on their politics. As I’ve gotten in to my 40’s I’ve learned that many people who I’ve associated with who are like myself on the left are actually pretty shitty people who hide shitty behaviour behind having outwardly good opinion and people who I fundamentally disagree with on the vast majority of political opinions have been kind and compassionate in times of need.

I think you are very compassionate towards Bill in this interview James and I think some of what you said about leaning into your fears is good advice. Can I just say that I am genuinely worried about Bill and I am extremely worried that he is more than likely going to be going on tour soon and I’m not sure if that’s the best thing for him right now. I know that he’s more than likely got some of the best people around him at the moment like Lawrence Bell but nevertheless I worry.
