Rose will get into the hall with weaker numbers than he should have had.. Walton's career was cut short by injuries. Besides the hall takes international and collegiate performance into account. Why u so butthurt? You might not like what he said but walton was a goon before the injury.

There is no such thing as the NBA Hall of Fame. It's the Basketball Hall of Fame. Any contribution to the game of basketball can get you in there regardless of your level. You do realize there are women in the Hall of Fame? Walton's college career alone was arguably enough to get him in there. I believe he was also the first player to lead a team to an NBA championship that had never reached the playoffs before? Still not sure that has been done since? Named Top 50 All Time in 1996.....Walton's peak was cut very short, but when he was at that peak, it's arguable that there have only been 10-20 players in basketball history who were actually better than him. Gilbert was a very good All-Star who made a terrible decision. Bill was the league MVP and defending champion when he suffered what was essentially a career ending injury (despite stretching that career for another decade) Bill is just being critical because he gave up the opportunity to play professional sports, something millions of people can only dream about, all because of an inability to make rational mental decisions (in his 30s no less)
