Megan is currently predicted at #2 next week with ‘Hiss’ and it still has momentum behind it. The song is awesome and I’d definitely take her debuting this high over Tom McDonald which was originally predicted, that’s for sure! As for Nicki, my respect for her dropped faster than ‘Trollz’ on the Hot 100.

1) What is the appeal of "Lovin on You"? It's not the *worst* Jack Harlow song I've ever heard but it's easily the dullest! 😒 2) "Lose Control" making it to #4 was a pleasant surprise. I hope it can get to #1. If not, get to #2. 😃 3) "Agora Hills" making it to #7 is interesting. I never thought that the song would have *this* much staying power! 👀 4) "Rich Men North of Richmond" lasted... *20* weeks! Considering the song's infamy, you'd think it would've lasted longer. 🤷 5) Speaking of infamy, it's amazing how Chris Brown is still around. Despite everything he's done, alleged and confirmed, he won't go away without a fight! 6) Who wanted a second David Kushner hit? He's the blandest artist we've had in quite some time. 😴 7) I wonder if "No Caller ID" can stick around to become a big hit. Megan Moroney's first hit, "Tennessee Orange", peaked at #30 and made it to last year's Year-End Hot 100 at #67. 🤔

Pretty much Megan released a song on Friday called Hiss where she came for EVERYONE who ran her name through the mud and made fun of her trauma, from Drake to the Tory Lanez stans and others. She made ONE LINE about people being mad at Megan's law, a s** offender registry list, instead of her, and that sent Nicki spiraling into a c**e induced frenzy because her husband and brother are both s** offenders and her ONLY #1 hits have been with s** offenders (Dr. Puke and the Skittles guy). Also, her cult of a fanbase has been doxxing people's locations who have had anything slightly negative to say about her trash ass diss track towards Megan, including LEAKING MEGAN'S DEAD MOM'S GRAVESITE ADDRESS!!!

So Megan Thee Stallion released Hiss, a really good song calling out all of the people who have been using her for clout. Nicki got upset because Hiss mentions Megan's Law, so she released a rushed and lazily made diss track called Big Foot, essentially proving Megan's point by doing nothing but making fun of the fact that she was shot in the foot.

Wait until Joker 2's trailer comes out because I have thoughts on it. Hopefully the list gets bette- Wait, apparently they announced a new one. Let's see what it is. Song things to note as of now: 1. "Used To Be Young" is locked for the 2024 YE list despite dropping out in January. This is simply because of the shortened 2023 year that was 49 weeks. Without those extra early weeks from 2023 counting towards 2024, it would have gotten caught between years. 2. "Good Good" by Usher, 21 Savage, & Summer Walker is locked for the 2024 YE list. It is the first time Usher will have a YE hit since 2016, and it will be Summer Walker's first YE hit. 3. Now that "Vampire" and "What Was I Made For?" are locked for the 2024 YE list, 2024 has a total of 16 repeats. The most amount of repeats of any year end list (and we could potentially get 18 if "Dance The Night" and "Flowers" stick around longer). Conclusion: Congratulations to Usher. It will be cool to watch his half time show this year, and he will probably make my best list this year. When it comes to everything else. Man, 2024's YE list will be the most wack YE list ever.

I was hoping for Vampire to not be locked yet but oh well. In my opinion this year is really showing promise in giving us a very interesting line up of new hits so far, unfortunately this will be the year with the most carry overs but hopefully the strength of the new hits outweighs the carry overs. Edit: If we make this right then Flowers will get recurrent before locking for the year-end.

So frustrating that “bad idea right?”, “I KNOW?”, and “Save Me” won’t be making either Year-End list and will be getting caught between years while “Used To Be Young” will make it instead. Love Miley, but I’m really not a fan of this song. Absolutely thrilled for Usher’s “Good Good”, though. About time Summer Walker got a Year-End hit to her name, and the song is absolutely fantastic. ❤️🔥 Also worth noting that out of the 16 repeats, *five* of them are Christmas songs. 💀

Best: 'No Caller ID' by Megan Moroney: Yeah, not much competition, but this was a solid little song. She's 2 for 2 from the two songs I've heard from her. Worst: 'Skin And Bones' by David Kushner: This one really got under my skin way more than 'Daylight' ever did. Comparing the woman to a swine cemented it as the worst of the week and probably a lock for worst songs to chart this year. Let's please not make this as big as 'Daylight'. DM: 'Beautiful Things' by Benson Boone: This has the worst vocal performance on a hook I have heard in a very long time. The only reason it's not tied for the worst is because the opening part of the song doesn't sound terrible.

My only hopes for the near future are we don't have that Tom MacDonald song with Ben Shapiro rapping of all things charting (especially not at #1 like Ben wants) and that Nicki Minaj's diss song to Megan Thee Stallion called Big Foot doesn't chart (or at least charts very low) in the upcoming weeks. I saw this coming for quite a while, but I was annoyed by David Kushner constantly being compared to Hozier before this song came out. The poor guy is actually from the suburbs of Chicago (aka where I'm from) and yet he tries to sound like an Irishman? That's probably why I was annoyed by the comparisons with Daylight. Skin and Bones, by contrast, has me worried that it's actually a fairer comparison than I once thought. I see why people dislike this, and even if I do think the atmosphere created is cool, the lyrics certainly aren't. Mark, of course, takes his criticisms too far by making the tired old "virgins at youth camp" joke. Just feels unfair to both the artist and those (minors) who haven't gotten lucky. And quite frankly, I never got "horny" vibes from Hozier's music.

I haven't gotten around to watching that show yet, but there is something about it I want to talk about. I see so many people say that being nothing but swearing is a Vivziepop exclusive thing. Nah, that's modern edgy adult comedies in general. Just ask the other show that came out this month and had a lot of people talking about it. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean you're not allowed to dislike how both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss use swear words every sentence. I like Vivziepop's work, along with other edgy stuff that are mostly swearing I alluded to like Renfield and The Hunt, but even I think the swearing can get old in them at times.

Man I remember how good both WHATS POPPIN and INDUSTRY BABY were. They were awesome, and it made me think Jack Harlow had a lot of promise.
