@Nick Cruz Boring? If only. I can see people describing it as such, but I don't find the song boring. I would actually like it if it weren't for Capaldi's voice. The world really did not need a Scottish answer to Chad Kroeger or Scott Stapp - and definitely not one singing a ballad like "Someone You Loved". Also, the song so does not deserve its video. I understand getting Peter Capaldi for your first music video if you have the chance (they're cousins), but putting him in a shameless tear jerker like this is not the way to go about it, and even so, the elder Capaldi is far and away the best thing about this.

Looking forward to Post Malone giving the charts a real clean out next week including the top 10. Australia might get rid of "Ransom" and "One Thing Right" from the top ten and that is weird for me to say because I am generally not a massive fan of Post Malone even if I like a lot of what he has released this year apart from "Goodbyes" (but that's mostly because of Young Thug sounding like he is sitting on something spiky)...I can hope. Speaking of Post Malone, I really like "Circles" and hope it does eventually go number one. Lana Del Rey's "Doin Time" cover is mostly forgettable. Next week, a lot of Post Malone, Camila Cabello's two singles (one of which is awful) and hopefully Kelsea Ballerini's new single "Homecoming Queen?" charts. Following week will likely be Halsey's new song and that song Ariana, Miley and Lana have done for the new upcoming Charlie's Angels movie.

Just a small critic, The Bones is so much less of a nashville plant than you're saying. It has shockingly little radio - it has less than Uno for god's sake. It's probably the single most streaming driven country song in history (that is actually somewhat country). Anyways, this week was awful. Best: Circles HM: The Bones La Cancion Babushka Boy Bezerk Shots Love Me Out of Luck Good Vibes Doin' Time DM: God Only Knows Worst: Heat

@Nick Cruz I mean, saying that song is terrible is like saying that smoking destroys your lungs, it's not the most controversial statement in the world, and yeah, it is AWFUL. It's right up there with Birthday Cake, Gummo and Bodak Yellow (hot take) for worst hit of the 2010s.

@Gabinston Finally, someone that shares my hatred of Cardi B, I really wish that Mark was as hard on her as he is with Chris Brown, considering that she's done even worse shit than he has and in my opinion has even worse music. Post Malone circles sounds almost the same as 1979 from the smashing pumpkins. But I still like it over most of his other songs. I don’t know if he will get this to number one next week or truth hurts is a strong number one.
