I feel so grateful to have discovered this incredible woman. I didn't know who Jamie Kern Lima was until I heard her speak at Tony Robbin's most recent Unleash the Power Within virtual event, but I was so deeply moved and inspired by her story and just knew right then and there, this woman is the role model that I've been desperately searching for. When she said toward the end: "When you show up and say what you mean and be who you are you, you are first. There's never been another you in the whole universe," I felt that in my bones, and it made me tear up like you wouldn't believe. Thank you, thank you for having her on your show. 🙏

An inspiration for all of us! But one thing that I would like to add…. Is courage. Us people pleasers eventually learn that pleasing others leads down a road of discontent. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to take a risk. Take the step forward and maybe fail. But…. If we do. We will succeed. Eventually. Maybe we will not be a billionaire, but taking the risk of self fulfilment will always lead to success. I thank you for introducing us to these lovely, courageous women

She said women don’t know why but they feel less! I’ve learned that people often say “I don’t know!” when they feel shy of their answer! So, you have to decide: you really don’t know or your to shy? I say: don’t be shy of your feelings in answers! And when you decide you know!!✌🏻

I agree and I had a similar thought - could it also be that we’re too afraid or ashamed to say the reason out loud?

One thing is obvious: women who earn millions look like the women who earn average or less. We are all crazy catering to our insecurities which are mental. Outside we look the same.

I love women of impact but.... This whole idea, all women have to 'crush it' in work... it kind of is condescending to stay at home moms and housewives.. I just wanted to say that nowadays, stay at home moms and housewives are being looked down on, when in reality they should be praised. some women are nurturing mothers and they are happy and fulfilled taking care of the house, without 'working' in corporate or being business women, which is perfectly fine. I think this kind of message can actually hurt a lot of full time moms/ housewives(which doesn't resonate with the whole 'women of impact'). seems like it only serves 'boss babe' type of women....

Such a fun movie with great music, but... in Grease, Sandy changes everything about her style & demeanor in order to fit in Danny's circle.😏 (I suppose one could speculate that her previous persona was the contrived one, but it seemed natural enough on the beach & during the sleepovers. I wonder how many movies depict a woman or man overhauling themselves for another person. When is it the strong-enough impetus to finally make authentic changes and when is it self-abandonment in order to fit in?

Great conversation at the beginning of this episode! KUDOS to her for her courage and authenticity. Re: the last conversation about courage…“Women of color” has no real meaning when it comes to conversations about pay differences. Black American women are not interchangeable with Asian women, hispanic white women, etc. Let’s do a service to equity for women by being specific about which women we are speaking about and naming them.
