Interesting to hear him say he didn’t like travelling. Later in life he said he did like it. Fascinating to actually see the change as he got older.

He has ADHD, which he passed on to one of his daughters. The neurologist who examined said he also had an unusual left side of the brain I think it was. That plus the ADHD would go some way to explaining how he was able to do what he did onstage. The ADHD was also the reason he was punished so much at school, as it was unknown at the time.

There's a few sections that had to be 'trimmed' by KZitem due to Copyright Control and then the vhs just stopped and changed to a Bernard Manning clip, which I can't remember recording. I didn't even like him! If I had the full interview I would have posted it, sorry.

@@karenhowarth5552 Thanks for sharing. You could upload the full clip to dailymotion or a site similar to get round the copyright strikes.
The interviewer is a very famous UK interviewer, Michael Parkinson. Here are a couple more with Billy. kzitem.info/news/bejne/yoZsyapvrKGXqoI kzitem.info/news/bejne/qoqF4JqCaqCEd20
