Sermon Topic: Be Careful About Who You Fall in Love With
Text: 2 Corinthians 6:14 - "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"
Billy Graham:
"My dear friends, today I want to talk to you about something that is very important for every one of us. It's about being careful about who you fall in love with. The Bible warns us not to be yoked together with unbelievers, because what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
"When we fall in love with someone, we need to make sure that they share our values, our beliefs, and our commitment to Jesus Christ. Because if they don't, we can find ourselves being pulled away from our faith, away from our values, and away from the things that are truly important.
"I've seen it happen time and time again. A young person falls in love with someone who doesn't share their faith, and soon they're compromising their values, compromising their beliefs, and compromising their relationship with Jesus Christ.
"So, my dear friends, be careful about who you fall in love with. Make sure they share your commitment to Jesus Christ. Make sure they share your values and your beliefs. Because if they don't, you may find yourself in a world of trouble.
