Watching this kid appreciate and admire the other artists around him is the best . When it's someone else's turn to throw down a little solo , he steps back and enjoys the hell out of it .

You can hear the difference when somebody is doing it because hey want to be a star and when they are doing it for the love. Fantastic when he steps back and just digs what's happening.Those fantastic ladies in "I'm With Her too". They killed that tune stone dead.

He actually tuned his guitar during a guitar solo, only he incorporated it into his guitar solo. Fucking amazing. Nothing short of genius. This kid is a guitar legend!

@@thetreblerebel And that's one of the most difficult things to do in a bluegrass band is that blending of all the instruments, timing, solos etc...To me, it's what separates the good from the best. Obviously Billy knows each and every one of the women up there, but Billy Strings's band is so on point, just as you mentioned. It's crazy.

I just took it as everyone having a good time...but they all loved that solo, especially the look on Sarah's face when he dropped D in the middle of the song :)

I mean, on the one hand, it’s musically tasteful and sensitive to the arrangement, which is the most important thing - but actually, that solo just as technically challenging as the lickety-split fast stuff he plays in some ways. 🤷🏻♂️

OF course the ladies are spectacular and I love the four all together but since Billy is the guest I just have to say that young man is such an amazing musician - the way he is so sensitive to whatever situation he is in and so alive to what is going on. He adjusts himself perfectly to the music these women are making and accompanies without putting the focus on himself yet this special magic. Such star he is!

That is not such a big deal for someone who can play that well. It is how he just did it and made it fit so nicely. That to me is a small indicator of how he will change the music in the future, his willingness to just do it and be natural. The confidence to know it will be alright. It was nothing and something at the same time. Ya get me?

Sarah's mama used to take her to the Bluegrass jams in the central Texas area. We knew how good she was, but she was never precocious, rather always cheerful and respectful. While she played to the level of the jam, it wasn't long before the other players encouraged her to cut loose. What a delight.

These gals are so friggen talented Every time I listen I like it more than the last time and I absolutely loved it the first time I listened to it.
