They're doing asmr specifically focusing and mastering the vocal aspect,as opposed to using extra bells and whistles which can be great but at the same time it's hard to beat raw natural production which creates a great ambience.

There is a British version of this story called the enormous turnip 😁 I am a primary school teacher so I am well versed in this story type. It's really lovely to hear another cultures take on this story. I am sure I'll fall asleep to this video in minutes. Thank you for your always wonderful content Allison 💖

In Russia we have our own version of this story, it's called "Репка" ("Turnip"). I was actually very surprised to recognise the story, I never knew that other countries and cultures also tell it to children.

With all the amazing differences that all the cultures out there have between each other, it's fascinating to learn about our similarities, even if it's small things like the stories we tell to our children.

My husband had never heard of a British version, his primary school teacher must not have taught it to him!! I love hearing children's stories from other cultures too, it's so lovely to see how we're all similar in the way we read stories and teach our young ones :) Thank you for being an awesome teacher! 💖

it’s not really different, tones and intonation in whispering is just like regular talking, whispering is just not voiced, which means that ur vocal cords aren’t really vibrating and are being used inefficiently. like if u hold your fingers to ur adam’s apple and whisper you won’t really feel any vibrations, but with soft talking you will feel vibrations. also, fun fact, english doesn’t have tones but it does have intonation, which is why you change your pitch a little bit when asking a question. :))
