Great lecture but, a question to the community and professors if a person can live without a Thymus then what is the reason that a person would die without regulatory T cells?
@user-pk3yk8xp7p

the regulatory T cells inhibit the over-activation of the immune reaction that fight against infection. deficit in the regulatory T cell function may lead to uncontrolled over-function of the immune reaction, which may cause tissue damage partly because of massive release of cytokines. Personally, a thymus-deficit man can live without regulatory T cells because he don't need the inhibitory function of the regT as he wouldn't have over-activation of the immune reaction.
