Nice summary, it would be interesting to include multiaxial loading as well, bending rarely happens without shear, or cylic loading where it fluctuates between tension and compression.

Yes, there could be much more detail here, but this is an undergraduate basic biomechanics lecture and some of the students hadn’t taken basic physics. This is why I taught it this way.

With regards to the likelihood of injury curve, what would the likelihood of injury be, if, the frequency of loading is high and the load magnitude is high? Seems like that cannot be taken account for by this curve. Why is this the case? Is it because it requires one to look at variables beyond just magnitude and frequency? I acknowledge that according to this curve (I stand to be corrected), when the load magnitude is high and frequency of loading is high the likelihood of injury is low, whereas if the frequency loading is high and the load magnitude is low the likelihood of injury is low, is this correct?

Is it feasibly possible to be competent in Biomechanics in a 3 week online university course? I feel this helps more than what i doing.
@RehabScience

It would be tough to be competent in biomechanics in three weeks. The course I taught was 15 weeks in length and worked well as it gave us time to cover each topic thoroughly and for the students to go over the material enough to retain it.
@PuReXVetEraN1

@RehabScience thank you for the response. Yeah, I wondered about that. Typically I have done 6 weeks of a summer course once in the past which was already pushing it. But 3 weeks? It's crazy. Wish me luck on surviving this.
