very nice pictures, obviously nice place to be, still some birds are misidentified (so far on a quick look): Short-toed lark = Wood lark Golden Eagle = looks like Common Buzzard Reed Warbler = Eastern Olivacous Warbler Rock Bunting = Cirl Bunting Orphean Warbler = Subalpine (Spectacled?) Warbler

Good video but I see some miskates . -first miskate : at 11:37 that's not a great tit but a blue tit -second mistake is at 12:56 . It's not à short toed lark but a woodlark. -Thirdly . At 13:18 that's a common buzzard instead of golden eagle . -Fourthly . At 18:16 it's an eastern olivaceus warbler . Fifthly . At 19:17 it's a cirl bunting instead of rock bunting -Finally at 27:30 it's a lesserwhite throat instead of orphean warbler . Orphean warbler does not live in Crete. Otherwise that's a good video.

I agree. Short-toed Lark in a tree would be very unusual

I agree, but I also found out that:the montagu's harrier seems a pallid harrier and the Spanish sparrows are indeed Italian sparrows The "lesser white throat" is a sardinian warbler...

I enjoy watching your video and being able to listen to the sounds of the birds etc..Nice photographs and definately" tortel duifs" this time .If you have bikes I guess you would have left in the low countries as its a bit of a lumpy island.

Such a beautifully filmed artwork. Where are those beautiful olive trees at 16:45? Is that the bridge on the way to Preveli? Beautiful birds so well captured...

Beautiful film and a beautiful island it reminds me of Lesvos. What camera do you use to film? (think you might want to check a few of the identifications).

Guy Marchal 1 maand geleden What I use is a Sony FDR-AX53 4K consumer camera with a 20X optical zoom, fitted with an old Sony teleconversion lens VCL-HG2037Y factor 2X. I record moving scenes preferentially in FHD at 50P. I only us 4K 25P recording for long distance shots without too much motion. This allows me to crop later on during editing achieving around 1600mm equivalent without loosing FHD resolution. I render in XAVC S which provides much better quality than XAVC. Recording for both formats at 100 megabit sec to minimise artefacts.
