I’m an infant twin mom who follows Baby Led Weaning and despite what everyone else says, it is NOT easy to just “pick the food particles off the floor” when you have two screaming children on the other side of the kitchen waiting for you to finish wiping, sweeping, and mopping the floor. This sure seems like it would make life much easier!! I am for trying it! Thanks for sharing. 😎

You can't leave it too long before you really clean the machine out though, or they stink really bad. The self cleaning brush roll saves you time and energy to clean the brushroll, but you can't leave it to dry inside or they get musty Hope it helps to make life easier. Some women have said they have less stress when messes happen, because they can just grab their vac/mop and it's easy.

So far very happy with this. My cat is approaching 20 and she yaks once in a while. The soap/disinfectant smells good as well. Would recommend to wipe heavy debris with a paoer towel, then vacuum the reminder layer. Reason so you don't have to wash the brush roll of gunk.

Yeah, trying to get the smell of vomit out of a machine just isn't worth it. It's quicker to just use paper towels and spray and clean w/ something wet to rinse after. We accidentally vacuumed dried cat vomit and it took quite a while to get that small out of the vacuum. Lots of cleaning of filters and such. These seem to shine as floor washers that vacuum at the same time. It looks neat that they can pick up gross messes, and if you have kids that might come in handy. For pets though, the hassle of cleaning the machine after wouldn't be worth it.

This cleaner is not suitable for picking up large, messy spills...why?...because you will spend twice as long cleaning all the gunk out of the actual Crosswave afterwards. This topic has been widely discussed on previous models. I also own an earlier model and can confirm this. This cleaner excels at a light weekly wet mop and vacuum and the Bissell cleaning solutions leave a nice smell (even tho the smell only lasts a few hours). If you have a large mess like the oatmeal and milk featured in the video simply clean/mop it up with some paper towels and/or microfiber towels, THEN run the Crosswave over the area. Great little machine have been using mine for 4 years (older, corded version). I once spilled coffee over an expensive Persian Rug and with the correct Bissell cleaning solution and the bristle, carpet roller it cleaned up the rug 100%- no stain left behind.

Hi! I'm not sure this is the case for the hf3. The redesign makes clean up much easier and faster so it should be faster than mopping yourself. .

That might be the one reason why I might pick a Bissell over a Shark or Tineco. They tend to be cheaper, and they have the carpet brush roll. Wish Shark would come out w/a carpet brush, because I like the Shark or Tineco design overall better.

@@saintejeannedarc9460 ...my Bissell stopped working about 4 months ago 😢..no longer any suction. I checked everything including blockages but cannot find the problem 😡. Now I am back to using a simple mop and bucket. I may buy another cleaner- not sure exactly which one but probably a cordless one this time, unless by some miracle I can fix it.

@@blurayffan66 How long did it work? New appliances tend to not last too long anymore. It's a shame, but they are pretty much all like that. I'm still impressed it took coffee out of an area rug. Like I was saying, that would be the only reason I might go w/ a Bissell, as they seem to be the only ones that offer the carpet brush roll. I like Shark better for design, lightness and maneuvering, and Tineco's are just really expensive now.

Hi! Corded pet pro will be more durable because of the cord/no batteries and better for homes with pets but the hf3 has a superior brushroll and quieter, more modern design. Being totally honest, I use the hf3 more because of its convenience and faster clean up. For most applications, the results will be similar between the two.

Vacuum Wars compared Shark vs. Bissell and found the Shark was overall better. Though he didn't compare this model, but the more standard looking coloured Bissell. Even though Bissell has more power and a bigger tank, it's not as maneuverable. You have to hold down the trigger for water to be released. Some people like that, but the auto release uses less water and they don't leak after when it sits, like Bissell can do. Even w/ a weaker motor though, the Shark cleaned better in a neon stress test, that showed how much was left behind and how much streaking happened. I do think the Bissells tend to be a sturdier machine, but I'd likely go w/ Shark for lightness and maneuvering. The only thing that would make me go for Bissell is they have the carpet head attachment. Would be nice to refresh my area rugs and give them a regular surface clean. Sharks can do it, but not as well as Bissell, which can even take out stains w/ the carpet head.

With these hardfloor cleaners the only thing I really want to know is how well it is able to pick up regular dust/grime. For big spills I would just use a towel to clean them up. My main use case is to make mopping easier (I have a lot of hardfloor..) Can you do a test where you just clean a large area (regular level of dirtyness, no special big spills) and show the dirty water afterwards? is it able to clean the floor and remove kitchen grime/normal stickiness well? I would imagine with the separate water tank it would be quite good
