It’s crazy how a lot of keepers act so invincible around venomous snakes. They constantly lecture views about “what to do” and “what not to do” and how careful you have to be and bla bla bla. No disrespect on anyone, especially Will. Awesome guy and great channel. But he let the rattler slither up to his leg AND bite him before moving his leg out of the way.... definitely not the right move. He is super lucky the fangs did not penetrate his skin. Should have moved back the moment that snake lunged forward. In the field, you have no way of knowing the true temperament of these animals. Play safe or one day, you’ll lose a (insert body part or body function here).
@WillNace

If I would have moved it would of happened too that’s why I didn’t move. She then did bite me when I moved my knee just the slightest because my body moved. Knowing animals is a important part of what we do in the field or at home.
