Great work. A proposition .You could make a multi-radio module. It is very useful and can be done with little hardware A switch with 4 poS (COM, NAV, ADF, XPDR), two 7-digit displays (active/standby) and a double encoder + button.

Just found this, I can't wait to try make a little screen with altimeter, just for a place to start! :D My better half got really into MFS recently, and having some gadgets would be awesome. Only problem is I don't have mfs... So I would have to install this on his pc right?

Will this work for other simulators like flight gear? It's a pain making Arduino projects for a flight sim with out a connector.

This looks incredibly promising. I'm an X-Plane 11 user, and I have serious doubts about the viability of XP-12. As such, I am looking at options for converting my BeechCraft 1900D full-size sim from XP to 2020. twitch.tv/the_beech_house www.twitch.tv/videos/1599470635 The sim has roughly 20 Teensy 3.2 micro-controllers. I use the TeensyDuino plugin exclusively. I've been able to reverse-engineer several real components using that library. I have a Garmin MX-20 MFD that relies on Teensyduino, as well as several other real aircraft systems that are directly interfaced. I'm hoping that your project can help replace the TeensyDuino. Truth be told I am not a fan of middleware. This is why I have loved TeensyDuino. There's no app in the middle, between the sim and the microcontrollers. Looking forward to learning more about your project. If you need an in-depth tester, please PM me. Great work!
