The best ones Pat McCormick ever said on ''Dialing for Dollars.''He was showing ''Some Like it Hot'' with Marilyn Monroe & Tony Curtis then tells T.V.Audience ''They didn't do this movie in color because people would think it was a bunch of flaming queers.'' The Gynecologist joke he told on Dialing for Dollars..'' an overweight lady goes to her male GYN . The GYN tells the lady to undress then lie on the table for examination. The Gyn walks in the room the lady is lying on the table for examination. The Gyn looks down in between then says ''You're a big lady, you're a big lady, you're a big lady.'' The lady replies ''why did you tell me that? How come you told that to me three times?? The GYN replies ''Lady I said it just once.''

My wife is from Washington. She just looks at me funny when I go through this sketch when people break things. Come to think of it, I think it's a worried, nervous laugh she gives me. I grew up in San Jose, where the best UHF stations, like 36, 20, and 44 had a sister VHF station in KTVU, channel 2. Besides having AIDS ignored by the national and state governments, the area was so much better then. Now I can't afford to move back. Remember when James Gabbert would host the TV 20 Dance Party (I saw Boy George for the first time there!) and the Gay Pride march/parade, complete with uncensored Dykes on Bikes? That's how I knew I was queer for girls. Thanks Bay Area! You raised me right, err... left!

I used to watch this a kid. I remember they had a news segment. They talked about how, for the first time, a guy hijacked a plane to Cuba, but Castro decided to lock him up as a common criminal. Charlie horse said "You realize that he is going to live the rest of his life in in a room the size of a closet." To which Humphrey replied "Well, it serves him right." Charlie said "Well, maybe so, but---" and then stopped talking. In retrospect, that was a bit heavy for a kids show.
