The album version is the one that sounds good, the one you sing to in the car. This is the one that makes you cry.

This was around the time she was losing her voice and struggling with a vocal polyp-but this is still one of my favorite performances. So bold and full of emotion.

I would never have known that she was having trouble with her voice. This performance is superb. I was actually searching for the version she did with Anhoni but was curious to hear this. WOW. My heart and soul were zinging with every sound she made, every exquisite nuance. Now I need to listen to her entire body of work, which I am completely unfamiliar with save for the aforementioned and Hyperballad…

Pagan Poetry was about the beginning of her relationship with Matthew Barney... This one was described by Björk as continuation, as "autumn" when leaves start to fall.. She really believed they would be together till death. I am still sad their love ended, they are still my favourite contemporary artists.

It's not true. Her phrasing is rich and complex but always in time... or, "in groove", i must say. Check her jazzy stuff, she's a hell of a groover, and she marks beautifully the accents of the music and the interplay with the oder musicians is incredible. She knows perfectly what she's doing, believe me!

Yay! No Anthony. I really hate that dude's voice and the way he sings. His voice is so synthetic sounding. He really ruined what could have been my favorite song on that album. I understand he has a unique talent that many are drawn to (like Bjork), but not my cup o' tea.

Whatever. Didn't know, don't care. Her creepy, manly voice annoys me. Though, if Anthony wants everybody who is unfamiliar with their personal life to think woman, the first order of business should have been to change their name from ANTHONY.
