Black Books - one of my all-time favourite series. Both the male leads, Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey, do amazing stand-up, and Tamsin Greig has appeared in several more great sitcoms (Green Wing, Friday Night Dinner). I love your reactions BTW - you two have such a great, fun, loving rapport!

when it was my birthday one year I had brought lots of apple turnovers from a corner shop, ate the lot and arrived at a mates house, we were in his computer room listening to Eminem when I found I did not feel so good, I did not make it to the toilet in time & his mum had to clean up the mess I'd made, after being sick I sat back down in the computer room but after 15 minutes realised that I was going to be sick again so instead of running to the toilet I ran out onto my mate's balcony (which was about a foot from his garden) as I was vomiting over the side whilst on my knees my mates 2 dogs were either side of me licking up what I had thrown up, my mate brought me a glass of water to which I said (with sick on my chin) "I would like to propose a toast!", 2 of my mates burst out in hysterics laughing before concluding how messed up in the head I was after being sick twice, it turned out that the apple turnovers were out of date

Years ago my sister-in-law worked in the shop in London that Black Books was based on and her boss was a mad drunk who was rude to the customers. She left his employment after one morning when they came into work he told them they had to play a game, "Hunt The Poo!" He had crapped somewhere in the shop and they had to find it!

I think you can sum up Graham Linehan's writing as "the least possible chance of something going wrong happens" haha. You see across all of them. Black books, father Ted, it crowd, and Alan partridge.

@@emucat1 just checked looks like I'm mistaken, he only cameos on partridge. I just presumed because he usually cameoed on the works he wrote or co wrote.

You really need to look more at Dylan's stand up to understand how he thinks. I know his type of Irish very well. So emotional, all feeling and fucked up history. I relate to it. But it was my French teacher that introduced me to the arts first of all. And that relation was fucked up as well. But we understood. Sorry. I'm channeling Dylan right now. if you get it, it's such an addition to life.

Hi guys. I know you love music as I do and Im usually the guy that says new music sucks etc etc but I came across an artist called Ren yesterday and he is one of the most unique musicians I've ever heard. The song "Hi Ren" absolutely floored me. I would love to see your first reaction to it. Believe me you will enjoy it. It's like not knowing anything about a movie and after watching it once being the greatest thing you've ever seen. Just search "Hi Ren by Ren" in youtube. love you guys.
