Great review buddy 👍 Not bad att all for open sights. I also think this rifle will be a home run 😁 Would be nice with a red dot mounted that you also can keep with your pellets in the center box. Tactical stuf is not my cup of tea but this rifle i do like a lot. Enough power, compact and accurate also a great survival rifle and should be always in your truck. I think only when it's getting wet it will dry very slowly between the plastic and the metal and rust can be a problem. A ballistol oil film or some protective light grease will solve that problem. I always wipe off my rifles after use with a smal cloth with some Ballistol on it that i keep in an empty pellet box with my guns. Many thanks for showing and never run out of pellets my friend!

As a .22 owner, I promise that I agree with this review. With a small collection of mentioned pellets, you and even a second person could "eat" nearly indefinitely. thanks for watching the channel and the great comment. Yes the open sights being all black are an issues as it makes them very hard to see and line up especially in low light conditions. I solved that issue by painting them white but you as a consumer should not have to do that and it is a simple fix they could have done during there R&D testing. I always try and give honest and fair reviews of the products I show and review on my channel. I have no sponsors I pay for everything out of my own pocket so I have know one telling me what I can and can't say and I plan on keepng that way, I do really like the rifle so far and I do have more videos I am working with this rifle as well. Thanks for reviewing this - much appreciated. If you were trying to hunt for small game in a survival scenario it doesn't seem like it would be very effective. Plus, you would need a fairly wide backpack to carry it. If you go with a high-end air pistol (like the Huben GK1) you would get more portability and equal or better accuracy even with open sights. However, you would need to carry around an air pump for the Huben. I like where they are going with this, but maybe they can develop a model that allows multiple pumps to allow for more than one shot (make it a repeater) and allow it to use a clip to hold more than one round. That would take some more engineering on their part. I would also opt to drop the .177 caliber option and offer it in .22 and .30.
@BravoBassin
8 ай бұрын
Appreciate the comment but I am a little confused by your comment? FIrst this gun is very viable for taking small game such as rabbits, squirrels, birds or anything of that nature. and is very compact as well and can fit in a backpack and the company makes a backpack designed to spacificially fit this air rifle as well. I am pretty sure I showed in the video that this rifle is very accurate with open sites and you can easily take head shots on a rabbit or squirrel 20yds to 25yds out depending on how well you can shoot with open sights but I have since got it dialed in to do that out to 30yds with open sights. So not sure how you came to the conclusion that it is not a good air rifle for taking small game?? And you must of missed the multible times I said that the gun I was shooting is .22 cal air rifle although they do offer it in .177 as well. I have 2 more videos coming out on this air rifle showing even more how accurate it is with open sights maybe you need to watch those as well once they are posted.

@@BravoBassin The Huben GK1 can make quarter sized groups at 50 yards, sometimes hole on hole, and it is a semi-auto pistol. The disadvantage of it is that it’s a PCP and needs a separate air pump. However, at up to 80 FPE it can serve as a defensive tool as well. In my opinion, the group you had with the Black Bunker at 20 yards was not tight enough to ensure a head shot on a squirrel, and since it is a break barrel you have to break your aim to load and re-cock the rifle for each shot. That is the big disadvantage of break barrels and single shot rifles. I will always opt for a repeater when hunting so I can keep my eyes on the game. I think this platform is promising, but needs to be reworked. As for the size, a standard backpack is only about 12-13 inches wide, and the Black Bunker looks wider than that. I’d rather forgo the storage box to get it to fold smaller. If anything, a clip to hold a tin of pellets would be more useful. Now if you wanted to tie the gun to the outside of a backpack that might work. Just my 2 cents. Thanks again for the video!

@@genuinetuffguy1854 Well you obviously did not watch the whole video then and just watched the first group I shot with the JSB 15.89 pellets. which I even said in the video was not the best group. had you watched the next 2 sets of pellets I shot you would have seen that the JSB18.13 pellets at 20yds 4 out of 5 shots were in a 1 inch MOA group with one shot just outside the group. and as for the crossman premier dome pellets I tested all 5 shots were in a 1 inch MOA group at 20yds so I do not know how that is not a viable head shot on a rabbit or a squirrel? as for comapairing a PC to a break barrel well there really is no campairson as they are to totally different platforms. As you pointed out yourself though the problem with a PCP is it needs an air source but with these types of rifles as the one I am shoooting in the video you have an endless air source. Ans as far as single shot vs multi shot. well I grew up learning how to hunt with only single shot shot guns and rifles no scopes only iron sites and as my father used to always say to me, son if you cant hit what you are aiming at and kill it with one shot then you should not be shooting at it in the first place. 1 shot 1 kill end of story. Again I will say I have 2 more videos showing the accuracy of this air rifle coming out one of the videos is me shooting small game steel animal tagets taking head shots at 17yds out to 30yds open sights with no problem so maybe watch that video when it gets posted which will be this week. 👉Situation - World War with Russia and China against NATO. Population severely decimated, cities destroyed: I think it's smart to use an air rifle as a survival rifle, specifically one of these tilt-barrel systems, i.e. not CO2 or compressed air (compressed air with a hand pump also works, but it's annoying to fill). Firstly, in a survival situation where the entire population is affected, big game will become very rare relatively quickly anyway. Second, you will eventually run out of ammo. So it makes sense to use such a tilting barrel system because even if you run out of pellets, you still have a functioning weapon with which, if necessary, you can shoot leem mixed with grains of sand from the barrel as a type of bird shot. With such an air rifle you have a chance of surviving for a very long time and rats or other small animals will not become as rare as large game. And you can even use a rifle like this for self-defense if necessary, even if it's not ideally suited for it, but I think one shot with it in the face and everyone will run away, and you can hit small targets like that pretty well, especially with air rifles.
@BravoBassin
7 ай бұрын
that for the comment and you are very right in what you said. that fact of the matter is hunting big game is not as easy as people make it look and taking large game on a daily basis even for a good hunter does not always happen sometimes it can take days or weeks to get that deer or elk Etc: I have hunted all my life and I am pretty good at it But there are a lot of factors involved to be successful in taking big game. and one of them is like you said finding them will be harder. But there is a lot more small game to be had from rabbits and squirrels to all kinds of birds and mice and rats as you said. But if we end up in that dooms day situation 80% of the population will be good within 2yrs because most do not know how to survive without al the modern stuff. over half of that will be gone in the first year.

I have no sponsors and this air rifle was not sent to me to review. I bought it with my own money as I do with everything on my channel and I try and give the best honest review I can. I do appreciate you watching the video and the comment.

.22 Cal as a Survival Gun? 😂
@BravoBassin
8 ай бұрын
yes a .22 cal air rifle is very viable for a survival gun to take any type of small game such as rabbits, squirrels, birds, small hogs, havalina, pheasant, quail, dove, grouse, and turkeys etc: very easily. I hunt turkeys with a .22 air rilfe just like this. can even take a coyote, fox and other fur bearing animals as well. You are more likely in a survival situation to have a better cahnce at small game then any large game. I suggest you do a little research and google some youtunne videos on hunting with air rifles and you will see how viable they really are. and 1 tin of pellets has 500 rounds that you can carry in your pocket you cannot do that with a powder burner.

@BravoBassin Very True....I get what you mean...I own alot of airguns and would use the benjamin Bulldog personally. But yeah for small game the 22 is perfect.

@@knos360 thanks fo rthe reply back and ya I love that benjamin bulldog that is a great air rifle the problem with the PCP situation is you need an air source. qith break berral or underlever spring air rifle or even a pump air rifle you have the air source built in. On top of the fact there is less maintance as well. Don't gett me wrommg I own a few PCP air rifles and my favorite is my benjamin armada in '25 cal. I like it because it is hand pump friendlt and powerful enough that it can take down a small deer with a well placed head shot if that was ever needed. pretty much any big bore air rifle I know of is not hand pump friendly and you are not ever going to be able to air it up with a hand pump. Peersonally I think you should have both if possible to cover all your bases but once there is no more power then there is no more air for your PCP, unless you do like I did and get a nice big blue yeti solar power supply that can run my protable PCP air compresser's I own lol! thanks again for wathcing and the comments appreciate it.

Some European guy review this and it's absolutely junk. He literally pulled on the barrel and bend it. The bayonet really isn't effective purpose

interesting as I have not seen or found a video like that on youtube and I have watched every video I can about this air rifle how about you share the link to that video if you do not mind? Because I have to call bullshit on that part about pulling on the barrel and just bent it I will have to see that to believe that statement' And how can you tell if the bayonet is effective or not since the bayonet has not even been released yet to the market to test it?

@@BravoBassin kzitem.info/news/bejne/p5V9uGZmgXmTrXYsi=SkUjQNqzzG6acrag Click the link to watch the French man bend the barrel. Another video at the gun show one the black bunker employees promoting this put the bayonet on the rifle on and it fell off. Plus moving parts are weak points. I'll pick a crosman 1322 over this any day.

thanks for sending me the video link I really appreciate that. So let me break this down for you and I am in no way defending this company either as his rifle did have some QC issues it looks like. First he did not bend the barrel by letting the barrel slam up multible time he cause it to come out of the threads in the block and it pushed upward due to the forve of that as those parrels are threaded into the block. he was having issues with the gun cocking which can be due to screws and parts loosing in the stock which I addressed in my video noting that the screws loosed up after about 30 or so shots. Either way his rifle had QC issues and he needs to send it back for sure. But I wll say it is very important to always check you stock screws on a spring air rifle. I had a Hatsan 125 sniper stop cocking just like his did a moth after I got it. But I know many others that have had that same rifle for many years with no issues. WE can't just say this rifle is junk because of one gun having issues now if we start seeing several of them having these issues then ya we will all be saying it is junk. For me right now seeing this shows that there might be some CD issues they are going to need to work out. But I know a few other people that have this gun and so far they are not having any issues with theres as I am not having any yet with mine. But like I said in my video only time will tell. As far as thhe crossman 1322 well it has been around since 1977 and is a tried and true platform and a great air rifle for sure. thanks again for the video and I will be doing up dates on mine for sure.

@@BravoBassin I would rather see a side fold on it instead. If I had to pick this for a survival I would pick in the .25 calibre if they ever make it. Then u hunt larger game. However, you could modify 550 Paracord into a gun sling to carry it folded or not. Pouch on the stock to your ammo. Ditched the unnecessary weight of the carry case and the bayonet. Bayonet looks good for marketing but this isn't a battle rifle. What if you have the bayonet on it and have to reload and cock it could possibly pose a safety risk if not paying attention to cut yourself. However, if they made this into multipump design. I would definitely look into it. Weight size it is still heavy.

@@BravoBassin One thing I like to ask is to they sell parts if it has breaks down and work on it in the field or is it easy to work if it breaks down too? Definitely not impressed with all the plastic I see on it.

Sick an tired of seeing this POS of a airgun if it was 1200 fps it would have my approval but it won't even break 700 fps
@BravoBassin
8 ай бұрын
nteresting take since I have not seen an air rifle yet that actually shoots 1200fps claiming it shoots 1200fps and it actually doing it are 2 different things. And so far all the claims of air riles shooting 1200fps are just that claims it is just a marketing ploy to get you to buy there product which any person that has been into air rifles for awhile knows very well. And if you do not like this air rifle don't buy it. But if you have never seen it held it or shot it in person then how can you really know if it is any good or not? You can't. and for the record this gun is shooting around 800fps with lead pellets so with alloy pellets it would be up around the 1000fps mark. But I actually own one and have tested it to get my facts and opinions about it un like some other people.

I would have used a good scope to achieve best accuracy results
@BravoBassin

Well as I said in my video I like to show how accurate an air rifle is with open sights first because if it shoots accurately with open sights then it should be a pretty good tack driver with a scope. I also did say in the video that I would be making a video with it scoped up so you can see how well it shoots and that accuracy when it does have a scope on it and that video is in the works right now but I guess you missed that part when I said it in the video. thanks for watching and the comments always appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the review ! A few questions, Where is it made in ? Any idea of the velocity with the 14.3 grains and 18.1 ? Thanks !!
@BravoBassin
8 ай бұрын
Ok first I do not have any idea of the velocity with the pellets as I do not have a chronograph to test that yet but I hope to get one soon. I can say that they hit very hard and I have another video that will be out in a couple days shooting steel anumal field target that should give you a better Idea of the puch this air irfle can pack. As far as were it is made well her is the companies name and address that is making the air rifle.: KORE OUTDOOR INC, 4230 LAKE AVENUE, FORT WAYNE IN, 46815, USA WWW.KOREOUTDOOR.COM from what I saw at shot show I am under the ompression it is being made in the USA but they could have a factory over seas making the parts and assembling it here so I honestly can't say were it is being made. I can say it seems to be a very well made air rifel and very accurate as well and I have been very impressed so far enough that I am going to buy another one soon. thanks for wathcing and the questions hoep that helps.
