In my 40 plus years of living, I've never heard an interview of any sort from the likes of Barry White. This is a gem of monumental proportions and should be a study guide for the black man, woman and children of America. I don't think I've ever heard something so profound come from the voice of an entertainer. Of course he was much more than that. This was beautiful and prophetic.

I miss The Maestro....Mr White was a seminal artist. Which is to say, he CHANGED music when he first came on the scene, and took his approach to music and sold more than 100 million records...before Michael Jackson did it...and before Prince did it. No one was doing what he was doing. And it didnt take long before he was talked about, like he was one of thet "masters of music"..he was a big fish in a very small pool with guys like Stevie Wonder, Isaac Hayes, Prince, Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones...all of whom, had their own approaches to music, while all the time, thinking about how they could propel music, forward. No one..was using strings (violins, harps and cellos) in their musical production, like Barry White. Isaac Hayes joined Barry with that sound...and it was really something to behold, watching this former gangbanger, sing like Rev. James Cleveland, and arrange music like Sebastian Bach. There will NEVER be another Barry White.
