I just started using a kitchen rubber spatula to scrape out the epoxy!! Works great and when it dries you can peel off the epoxy. Use for another project.

I've done tons of research on this as I do with any unfamiliar project. These guys are the best. Most everyone likes to see all the different colors/techniques but I think there's a lot of people who want something simple and subtle, would like to see more simple 1 or 2 color subtle projects.

Did you let the base dry to add the green and not get lost with the black?
@LeggariProducts
3 ай бұрын
To blend the colors and get the design we want, we don't allow the base to cure before adding the green. Doing it this way creates an even surface and you can control how blended the colors are.

Awesome videos, pretty cool to watch this stuff get done. But I’m curious, suppose someone wanted a splatter pattern instead of the swirled marble pattern you tend to make. How would that change your process? Other than just not swirling the highlight colors in of course.

You do not have to swirl the highlights in at all and it doesn't change the process at all. Thanks

Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. This is NOT a cheap epoxy paint that you will commonly find at box stores like Home Depot or sherwin Williams. It is a thick 100% solids epoxy coating. Thanks

When it dries, is it glass smooth? I'm trying to look at the reflection of the light and it looks kinda wavy with "pot marks"? I'm on a phone so it's hard to tell. From a distance it looks amazing!
@LeggariProducts
6 жыл бұрын
We have 3 different top coat options. Glaze coat is our super high gloss top coat that lays out glass smooth just like the metallic epoxy coat. Our WB Urethane comes in high gloss and leaves a minor texture and we also have a WB Urethane that’s a Matte/Satin finish. Thanks
@Kman.
5 жыл бұрын
Just came across your channel, and went to your page as well. I'm interested, yet I question a thing or two after having been to your site... You show *THREE* finishes available should I order, but *ONLY* the finish with the "extra", high gloss protective coat shows your product to be as smooth as glass. The other two look about as pebbled or dimpled as a basketball...yes/no? I thought to u/stand the product "self leveled", but I've got some doubts now after your camera closed in on the finishes available on the ordering page.
@LeggariProducts
5 жыл бұрын
This product is definitely self leveling. Our urethane top coat comes with a part C which is grit and if you add it to the urethane you will get a matt/satin finish and if you don't add the grit to the urethane you will get a high gloss minor texture look. Thanks

I commented/questioned on another video, but also... *1* You're working with a totally clean, smooth, unblemished surface. I see nothing as far as *PREPPING* any surface. *2* Do you supposedly just let it dry on it's own? When this video ended, is the work *COMPLETE* other than drying? How long? *3* What was added to the alcohol that it was green in color?
@LeggariProducts
5 жыл бұрын
Yes there is prep involved, depending on the surface that are different ways to prep, take a look at our brochure and it explains the prep work. The epoxy will get hard in 24 hours but takes a full seven days to cure. We add metallic powder to the isopropyl alcohol. Thanks online.flippingbook.com/view/364043
