Simon, you're the goat of Black Metal KZitem! Keep it up man!! Your tutorials made me pick my guitar up after a year of not playing and reinvigorated my playing. Thank you!

Simon!! Everything you compose (or cover) is brutally beautiful (brutiful? haha) and I just wanna say your videos are as informative as they are entertaining... so thank you for sharing your wisdom. C: And to anyone else who sees this: HIS BLACK METAL COURSE IS ENTIRELY WORTH IT. I can attest to the fact that, as a piano/keyboard player who had begun the guitar with the dexterity of a dyslexic hobgoblin, you DO NOT need much prior knowledge to benefit - especially if you're sick to death of guitar tuts teaching from the angle of Slayer or Metallica. Hell, even if you've plateaued or just want direction in composing, his course will crystallize your skills and offer useful tips.

I think, it demonstrate that making black metal without understand music is difficult... trvely difficult :p. Thanks Simon ! (and shoot people saying "to play BM you just have to turn right all pots on a cheap amp and pick all strings")

5:04 is the same progression (or very similar) as Batushka's Песнь 2, listen to minute 3:22, think the difference is that Batushka plays every chord twice. Still awesome and dark sound as usual Simon.
