Thanks Simon, 'feel' is one thing, but the more you understand what you're working with, more you can explore and express.

Great Lesson Mate, Reminded me of when Marty Friedman was jamming with Paul Gilbert, Paul said to Marty what key are you in, Marty said none, both approaches can work, you did some great examples of that.

Earlier, today, I was thinking about your Black Metal Scale Lesson, especially the Blues Scale and the Double Harmonic Scale, used in the Black Metal context.

I've been trying to bring in more of the "feel" approach, while improvising. I usually use the "theory" approach more, but it's always a bit of both. And I have plenty of holes in my theory (which I don't mind taking a lifetime to fill). Thanks, again, Simon! Great Lesson and Tips!

That was awesome Simon, thanks! I'll watch this over several times. I just recently started playing a lot again recently and discovered black metal when I wasn't playing as much. Lots of good info here!

On the topic of theory, have you listened to the new e-minor song from watain, serimosa? A lesson on that would be amazing, that song has such a good atmosphere.
