Dying for love. The opening lead matches Gilmour for feeling and melancholy emotion. And Tony Martin reminds me of Freddie Mercury at times, circa 'Who wants to live forever. Brilliant ballad. Saying that I wish this album had some faster , all out metal bangers on it...

I’m a huge Sabbath fan, before and after Ozzy. Unfortunately, let’s get real, Black Sabbath ended when Ozzy left the band/got fired. The band that followed, Dio and beyond, were a great possibly better version of the original, better vocals, more involved composition with more sophisticated performances all around, but should never have been considered as “Black Sabbath”…completely different vibe. This was the ultimate mistake, since the fans found it hard enough to transition between Ozzy and Dio… and then too many vocalists entered the merry go round. Tony Martin is an absolutely awesome singer who sounds great with the band and especially on this album, but is it Black Sabbath?… not really… Kind of like the “new” Nazareth without Dan McCafferty. The band sounds great and the singer is quite good, but sounds nothing like anything resembling Nazareth. So as long as we’re not too hung up on names we can maybe enjoy it for what it is…. Great music!
