The reason the song was called Fluff is because it's a tribute to radio DJ Alan "Fluff" Freeman who back in the early 70's was one of the few radio DJ's to actually play Sabbath on the radio. Also, regarding your love of instrumental music you may wanna check out the Ozric Tentacles, not necessarily as a reaction but just to add to your instrumental library 😊

You MAY NOT and *MUST* NOT "skip" the Never Say Die album! MUST NOT!! 😡😡🤘🤘 ...anyone who makes any differing claim or suggestion is a musical dilettante (at VERY best!-Likely LESS than that!), not worthy of playing one, single, whit of attention to!! (re: music, anyway!). -It is, certainly, NOT "a perfect album," but: the instrumental prowess demonstrated and the variety (unexpected areas 'trod into,' for Black Sabbath) are:: ..well, based-upon your reactions, HERE: they are, ABSOLUTELY, "FOR YOU!" 🤘🤘 Just: "f.y.i.": The piano on "Sabbra Cadabra" (as well as the synths) are: Rick Wakeman [keyboardist of (the progressive-rock legends. Band) YES.- Wakeman, in fact, preferred to travel on the Sabbath tour bus, with Black Sabbath (as opposed to: with his OWN band!) and became close friends with all of Black Sabbath).] Iommi DOES play SOME piano part on "Sabbra Cadabra.", as well, but 🤷🤷 ...I've never sought to delineate: "who plays what, specifically" there (and don't know that it's entirely necessary). All of the instrument on "Fluff" are played by Iommi. Wakeman, also, plays the synth parts on "Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath" (on Ozzy's new miniMoog) [Just f.t.i.: it's pronounced: "Mow-guh" -maybe, actually, more like: "mow-gg"... and that is the surname of the inventor and its correct pronunciation. (Most U.S.-English speakers -who can't pronounce crap, in general! -NOR understand nor KNOW almost ANY of the rules (and there ARE pronunciation rules and "possibilities," ABSOLUTELY!!!!), go with the (false) American standard of: dual vowel being a long vowel, in a specific pronunciatory shed" and "oooh" the 2 'o's.- ...but) the name is, in fact a: Dutch name (primarily) of German derivation. Anyway: "MOHG"]** "Who Are You?" was written, almost entirely, by: Ozzy (which was almost NEVER the case!)! he had purchased a Mini Moog and started playing around with it one night and came up with the basis for this. ...Ozzy, also: rarely (read: "never!") wrote lyrics. Geezer Butler (bassist, etc.) was Black Sabbath's primary lyricist. Bob Daisely (the bassist in his, future "solo band" -which was, just, supposed to be a new band that Ozzy would front, as the lead vocalist (again), initially!), became his primary lyricist in his solo career (Daisley's name shows-up as a song-writer on Ozzy albums through ...I believe: No Rest For The Wicked [Zakk Wylde's debut album with that band.]. Ozzy would write or create: titles ...sometimes, suggest phrases or alter the order of words, here-and-there. ...but he did not, really, "write" words (until, arguably: much, much later into his career. MAYYYYbe in the late '90s/2000s)"-ish") ....but I never followed his career by that point, so I couldn't, truly, say off-the-top-of-my head🤷). In some ways, I think this makes Ozzy's work MORE amazing: finding ways to deliver other people's words in a manner which makes them feel "individual," "personal," and, often. as if he is speaking them, directly, to the listener, oftentimes. ...there is some kind of not-directly-explicable/-expressible "magic" in that, indeed! **More "f.y.i."/related info.: Robert Moog was the first to make a commercially available synthesizer instrument (with or without a keyboard!). His largest and most viable/important competitor was: A.R.P. synthesizers/A.R.P. technologies (designed by: Alan Robert Pearlman [Possibly related to: Blue Öyster Cult lyricist/"impresario"/producer: Sandy Pearlman (but I have NO, actual, idea of the Pearlman family tree/history🤷♂. ...This is, just, a speculation of possibility, on MY part.🤷🤷]. In the '60s and the'70s, if you were using a synth, MOST likely it was, either: a Moog or an A.R.P. A.R.P.s had a reputation for '"staying in tune better," because of having more stable oscillators (or manners of routing them-I am forgetting which, exactly., -maybe both.🤷) (I believe), but each had their own, unique, proclivities, propensities and possibilities. ...Some players/musicians were "dedicated" players of one brand/model and some used whatever they could find the coolest sound with, at a given moment.🤷👍 [First Moog became available in: 1964. Not used in a commercially successful recording until 1970 or 1971.🤷🤷]
