Let's give credit to Versace for threatening to pull his designs if Naomi couldn't walk

I'm confused, pull,his designs from,what? If Naomi couldn't walk??? Did i miss something? Why would the designer pull his designs if she is walking his show😳, I have read that certain white models stated they wouldn't walk shows if Naomi wasn't cast
@naobe5

@@a.rrucker5450 In fact , it was Yves St Laurent , who threatened french Vogue to pull his advertising campaigns (and budget) out of the magazine, if Naomi did not get a cover! That's how she became the 1st black model on the cover of the french Vogue edition! Gianni always had her walk in his shows because nobody could embody the Versace woman better than she did!

Richard Walker there's an interview from an insider who worked behind the scenes and explained why diversity went away after the surge of the 90s... PRADA. They became a mega house.... I've always had an affinity towards black women and generally women of colour as they are so effortlessly beautiful. The way they move, their facial features and their bodies are sublime…..you can really feel their fibre/character as they glide down the runway. That model made a great point about the ad agencies people growing up in the 50's being finely tuned to only use white girls [in some cases]……Anyway black women are supremely beautiful and very elegant and they have a certain flair that oozes out of them as they strut. Here's to seeing more black beauties in 2016.
