8:46 it's funny that you noticed and mentioned that, because Zora wrote the lyrics and main melody then René turned that into a song. That's basically how Blackbriar works. Beautiful telling. The version I'm more familiar with, they had a few children, and the children found the skin while their father was out. And nobody knows for sure if they descendants of the Silky.
