Frankie Banali's playing on Crimson Idol is sublime. RIP

The musicianship on The Crimson Idol is totally off the charts. Literally some of the best vocals, guitars and drums I have heard on ANY album. The relentless drum rolls and the emotional solos just put a stamp on Crimson Idol which I have not heard on any other Wasp album. Must've been amazing to record that and it's a shame that lineup could never perform it live 👀 R.I.P Bob & Frankie

I think he had a tear in his eye for a moment after saying he missed Banali. I think hes adorable. He reminds me of my grandfather who was an old school gangster, but he was tough outside, soft inside sorta thing, protected women. When i hear Blackie talk i wanna pinch his cheeks. I dont care what some people say about him. Would love to have a yarn with him.

Blackie Lawless is the most sincere person in entertaiment. I know he charges for the Q&A but that is irrelevant. People who get paid are insincere all the time. Keep these coming. Thanks.

Seriously? He says the same thing about everybody he's ever played with he blames them says they're the one with the attitude, he is the most narcissistic jerk in the music business and anybody that's ever worked with him say that he's nearly impossible to work with it's obvious he's completely stuck on himself so much so it's sickening.

@@badmonkey2222 He's still going and where are they? No where. He had his vision and he was never going to let anyone ruin that for him. Greatness is greedy and demanding. That's why few ever make it and that's why the music business is full of so many burn outs. You're so stuck on him that you're hear spewing your vitriol in this comment section for some reason. Still living in the 80's? Go listen to what you want to listen to. Stop being miserable.

@@rocknjbindad3707 Clarkke is just a copy and paste Blackie hater. Blackie is definitely one of the most well spoken in the business. The meth heads and heroin junkies that got canned from the band are very upset with Blackie.

As he's said MANY times before. He's an introvert. This isn't exactly his forte. There's a big difference between performing live on stage & "just hanging" backstage. Especially with prior experiences B.L.'s had. So it f he feels he needs to guard himself, what it wrong with that? He's not comfortable around people. Especially those you don't know & the wack jobs you know are ALWAYS out there.😬 Your always on the jump. You never truly relax. He's doing it for the FANS to connect to HIM. It's just on a personal level that he feels more comfortable in & to a certain point can control. I think that's pretty fucking awesome. 😔 Love & Respect, 💖 🤘
