What are your thoughts on the future of Pleasure Beach Resort? Will we eventually see some new world class rides? Or will we continue to see a constant decline?

I think it’s more than just the rides at BPB that give the feeling it’s in decline. They’re making big financial losses every year. Very little investment seems to actually go back into park development. The owner is consistently hostile towards anyone with constructive feedback, bank holidays are dead. And yes you can draw comparisons to hex and sky ride, but AT have been honest and open about these attraction not being available, and whilst they’re not available they are developing the rest of the park (Nemesis Reborn, Project Ocean, New Food Outlets, updated and refreshed events), Blackpools last real investment was a refreshed Valhalla recently and before that Icon nearly 6 years ago.

Pleasure beach has so much nostalgia for me, it’s so so sad to see the decline of the park. Some of these iconic rides don’t need to go but need some love. Others do need to go. Great Video

Agreed, Blackpool is our home park and we'll always have a soft spot for it despite it's growing down falls. We're just begging for some investment, not only in new rides, but in the general care of the park. I'd love to see it experiencing the glory days again 🙌

Amanda is driving the park into the ground, just as she did Frontierland in Morecambe in the 90s. I seriously worry what the future of this park holds

There's certainly been some poor decisions and lack of investment that aren't helping. Fingers crossed we see a big turnaround soon 🤞

I hope there wont be a continued decline of the park, i have very fond memories of the place. It always seems worrying when its so quiet on weekends and bank holidays. Hopefully we see a lot of new investment at the park in the next few years. Enjoyed the video 🙂

Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed it. 100% agree, the park holds a lot of fond memories for people (including ourselves) so we'd hate to see it decline further. Hopefully that won't happen, 1 or 2 key changes (such as the return of the walkaround pass) would go a long way to driving customers back into the park. Fingers crossed

Is it worth the trip? I have never been! And I'm in Blackpool in August

We’d definitely say so, especially if you’ve never been, even if it’s just to indulge in the heritage of the park.

Absolutely right my question would be how come Theme Park Worldwide are able to film on nearly every single ride? I'm sure they recently filmed on The Ghost Train aswell!

At certain events & private events they do allow filming (which I'm fine with) but the rules seem to change day to day and even ride to ride, it's just a confusing experience. It would be much simpler to just bring in on ride filming as long as your using a properly mounted chest mount, like the European parks do 🙏
