It's hard to believe they are all gone now. as in the last year we just lost Bill Shaw and Jackie Marshall. They are reunited in Heaven.

I just discovered that Jack died on August 27, 2018. He lived across the street from me in Memphis in the 50's/60's and the Blackwood Brothers' tour bus would occasionally pull up for a visit and probably rehearsal at his home. Good memories! www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/tuscaloosa-al/jack-marshall-7974238

+Larry DeWein I cannot agree with you more! I also started listening to them round about 1959, on their LP record "The Old Country Church", and still enjoy them. And of course, the late JD Sumner was a remarkable "phenomenon" - his voice was remarkable, and so his sense of humour.

+Larry DeWein ne of the greatest for sure. I also like the Chuck Wagon Gang, The Gaither Crew, and Statesmen, and , uh, yes, many more just turn me inside out and lift up and recharge my spirit and all I can do is , well, just praise God for His great creation, and making man in His image? Just thought how God would sound? I wonder how much the angels in heaven enjoy and how the Lord appreciates all the JOYFUL NOISE and beautiful!
