Forged is successful because it spends more time on the actual fabrication and testing than the dumb drama which is the fault of the producers

This show was such a great show. I don't see why the network or a different network, hasn't had this on for more episodes/seasons. Plus they had one of the absolute best knifemaker's on the planet, Todd Begg.

Something i can never quite understand in these kind of shows is the fact that they have to stress and work their asses off to barely reach an "impossible" deadline that could possibly "sink" the company and ruin everyone's lives, but then in the end they always have time set up elaborate little "demo's" for the clients to show off what they made and all is well again!? That's Hollywood for you!

To those of you talking crap, Todd Begg makes some of the best knives out there. Check his bodega folder, 1000 dollar knife and they sell plenty. They are called midtech knives, where they are stamped out but hand finished. Top notch knives, wish I could afford one

The most sought after swords were owned by Japanese emperors with over 100 confirmed kills. Even these blades are hard to sell at $200,000. Bodega needs to reel himself back in, since he's selling himself out for a TV show.

6k for an electric motor/actuator? Yeah right.... 300 titanium, so somehow you spend 3700 on steel and wire and fasteners.... You do realise you could cut up a car and get an electric window motor for the fact you are saying it would cost the price of a fairly decent car to build? Yeah right.

I hate to see how Todd sold out with this show. He is not catering to his true fans in the knife community, but to every one for good ratings. A mechanical arm knife? That is a fantasy piece of crap. His true talent is in his normal customs like the regular Bodega. He is only one of thousands of custom makers,Rick Hinderer, William Henry, Lucas Burnly, Bob Kramer, and so many more. All this show is doing is making the knife community look silly.

Ahh the old scripted 'make the weapon in week - I can't make that in a week' cliche. But, because it's 200k and a scripted reality show we'll get it done in a week. I'm probably not going to watch anymore episodes of this.
