Check out the Nano QX: amzn.to/1Bth1YO We have some fun with these bite sized quads. For more info: flitetest.com/a... Be sure to check out the store: shop.flitetest....
I've been raving about the Nano QX since it came out. Amazing little quad, and still unmatched by any other quad its size.

We miss you @David! @flitetest please re hier David ill give you a product that will pay for his salary and would LOVE TO SEE MORE 🚀 STRAPPED TO EVERYTHING!! Ps soo many ideas of episodes if u ever run out! Lmk! :) ur the best flitetest this side of the matrix... arial refueling by elecro mag charging supercompasitors maybe like 50mah 1s that allows for 3O seconds or so climb before having to try to get back to your refueling wing 🤔 possibly allowing eventually for this to become a whole new sport, maybe even shoot them out of a cannon like a mortor and at altitude they pop open and you begin.. last you could have multiple booms and or multiple refueling wings or hell a quad copter or ducted flying aircraft carrier where any successful landing will almost instantly recharge the power source and possibly sling you back out. I know its too many good ideas but this would be insanely difficult yet fun. Especially depending on a random factor such as once every so often without poilets knowing they get slung back into the air without any charge and now have to rely on thermals from possibly a large bonfire? Lol hope this gave someone an idea... ;) love these older vids and new ones.. ty FT!

Love my nano. I've got other larger quads, but this one is so much fun because it's indestructible, so I do things with it I wouldn't try with others. Probably the best beginner quad there is, and still a TON of fun when you're advanced.

My 14 year old neighbor flew this up to around 500' in the air by mistake and it was way beyond site when the wind took it away. We had to do an emergency landing and his brother was able to find it within half an hour! The quadcopter was in perfect condition waiting for us in the grass! I think the battery got damaged, but the quad handled that emergency drop very well. I'm so impressed. hahaha

I got one of these today! My first quad was the Proto X but I was finding it difficult to fly (total beginner)... The Nano QX is amazing! The stability mode is perfect for learning to fly around and after only 20 mins of playing around with it, I had a go at the Proto and was actually more competent! Defintiely recommend.

Both of these quads are a blast! I got a huge discount on the ProtoX when they first arrived and ended up using most of them as stocking stuffers for Christmas. If you think one is hard to see, try 12 of them all flying at once in a 20x20 living room It was insane but also a blast and kind of reminded me of that old movie "Batteries Not Included"

You're all a really likeable bunch! You come across as really intelligent as well as good humoured, I just love the videos but my favourite guy is the Swede, David, what happened to him? Thats was an awesome job he did on the Vampire with a butane after burner, he just always struck me as being the most different of the gang and I'm an oddball myself, so that was probably what made me think that of all of you, he's the one I would probably have most in common with. Lately I've been having a great time bidding on eBay! I got the UMX Carbon Cub, UMX SBach, and the UMX Habu for half the cost for each plane. The UMX Habu needed some fixing up, but they were all in great condition! I just won this beautiful quadcopter for $41! They're going for a really good price on eBay as used, so hurry up and bid before they're all gone! :) And once I get into the hobby more, I'll consider buying a scratch build from Flitetest as well as a shirt. I'm actually building my first plane when my parts come in the mail. It'll be a micro indoor plane. :D

I love mine, but the mode switch is a weak point in the design. For acro mode, switch channel 5 on and off. To switch back, switch it on and off again. If you set up in a heli model, this is your pitch channel, and using the throttle hold will disable mode switching. I thought I was in gyro when I tossed my Nano high in the air, but the mode switch was still on and it was upside down when it plowed into the parking lot. On my new one, the gyro didn't initialize properly(?) before the same kind of launch and it drifted away under partial control to get stuck in a tree. I managed to wiggle it down, but the frame broke on landing. TL;DR: low altitude over soft turf will save on maintenance, and an airplane setup in the TX is probably better than a heli. EDIT: I realized the reason I put it in heli is to have a throttle curve.

I just got the Nano QX and love it. I like the control and trim capability compared to the Airhogs Helix X4. The Helix has crashed and survived amazing things so far. I've been more gentle with the Nano QX because it has been too windy to play outside. I'm a newbie, but I can tell the Nano QX is stable in yaw. But maybe I just miss having trims with the Airhogs Helix X4. I love the work you guys do. Thanks so much.

Yo Guys, cool vid, one thing though....if you get the RTF version of this micro-quad, and think you'll have fun flying outdoors, think again...RTF for indoor only....range only about 20meters or so...not ideal. Bind with a Spektrum outdoors and you'll be amazed at this little thing...L8r!

I have one of these and I've had it for a while. The only problem I have run into, and it's probably my own fault, is motor heat. If you make a habit of running it on one battery after another without some cool down time, like I did, the motors will get very hot and the props will bond to the motor shaft so strongly that trying to remove a prop will damage the motor. Fortunately, motors are cheap, about $9. But you still end up waiting until you get the new motor to fly again, and that's no fun.

Man that is cool. I would like to get about 50 to 100 of the smallest one and pack it into a backpack tray. Put a sensor on the quad and all of my paintball team members will have IFF signal packs while our opposition won't and release the swarms to track and kill autonomously.
