Blair having such fun playing an asshole, then realizing he has to give a really good answer to the three-year question because it’s “the best question” 😂. Love this channel!

By my calculation, Shannyn got that done in 10 minutes and 45 seconds. Take that, Mr "I'll be honest with you, I only have 12 minutes for this conversation."!

Blair is playing a dude who says he's the decision maker, but he's reluctantly on the call because two other parties told him to. Love it. I know this sh*t happens but what a toolbox. Shannyn navigated that nonsense beautifully. I loved this, well done.

So happy you liked it. That decision maker quadrant is tricky for sure.

Imagine a world where a prospective client gives you quick, clear, and concise answers like this vs taking several minutes to answer each question without focus 😅

08:37 "How do you get work?" - I laughed here. It's fun to notice how people react when you respond with something that doesn't match the expected reply. It's like opening a window into the psychology of the human condition.

Shannyn is impecable. She combines expert level listening skills, calibrated questions, unwavering confidence, and exquisite physical beauty so elegantly. "Where do I sign???" Great job!

Thanks Richard! We should all feel very ok bringing our own style to these moments and it's been quite fun over the years tapping into that for myself and watching our clients do the same.

What is Shannyn's rate to be Director of Sales? She's hired! 😉

Hi Shannyn, is the flavour of this role play common to many engagements once the business is at a certain scale? For someone with mental health struggles, it does seem like a bridge too far to handle😔 Wonder if it’s not an arena for certain profiles if so. Does seem foreboding

That's on the tougher side. You can map out objections in writing, then memorize a few carefully chosen lines to address them. Have a friend pick objections and cycle through them, then respond. Video yourself if that helps and evaluate. As there is a performance aspect as demonstrated here. You leave the door open to totally bail from the job while signalling that you're a specialist and gathering information. Even a great firm I've seen close only 1/10 opportunities. But they were going for big things. So landing even 1 was solid. And often people coming to them loved them already as they made great case studies that they spent months crafting.

I have social anxiety and struggle as well with sales, my biggest tip is choose potential clients that you are invested in helping, have passion / expertise for, and who are looking to solve a problem otherwise I feel like I’m pressuring someone and not being helpful
