I’ve always liked how it looks like it’s 90% engines and ‘energy ball’ and you’re not even sure where the bridge is, it just look like it’s made for speed, power and kicking ass, and some crew can come along for the ride. Nice render!

As you can see from my avatar and my KZitem handle, I am a huge Blake's 7 fan and the Liberator is one of my favourite space ships of all-time. This is a fantastic CGI rendition of this beautiful ship, very well done.

Very good, shows off the ship in detail not available in the 70s, as said below Liberator was one of the best spaceship designs in Sci-Fi..as a kid I was fascinated with the design always drawing her

Looks great, a lot of models have lost the spirit of the liberator, inward so dissapointed when they destroyed her and went to Scorpio.

A great series deserves a greatly designed Star vessel and look no further then the System DSV 1 aka the Liberator. With the unique technology of regeneration auto repair. It also had vulnerability such as drained power resource and long recharge time. I love it and it is what made Blake’s 7 Blake’s 7 until they decided to destroy it in the end of Series 3.

Supermodel. I think it was inspired by the Lockheed L1011 - Tristar, the three engine aircraft with all Rolls Royce engines, which was very popular with airlines in those days.

One thing I've never understood is the orientation of the centre spire. In some shots of the TV prop the red squares lined up with the top weapon pod and in other shots it was rotated 45 degrees.

It’s wonderful that such an iconic design was inspired by a wireless microphone. It’s strange how everyday objects inspire, Lucas said the Millennium Falcon was based on a cheeseburger with a bite taken out and an olive peeping out of the side.

I always wonder which parts of the ship were accessible to crew. Unlike the Enterprise it's not immediately clear where the 'bridge' or control centre is (is it? can anyone help? where's Zen?). and are the three enormous gun turrets also living quarters, sick bays etc?

Let's see you do an interior of the ship then with a working ZEN computer. This is worthy of an RPG PlayStation game. I loved the liberator and the flight deck design. Could never take to Scorpio and SLAVE though.

Hmm. As magnificent as she was, essentially the Liberator was three big weapons pods, an equally large green glowing drive / power module, and not much else!
