Really struggled with this. The interviewer need to learn to listen instead of constantly asking questions before he gets a chance to respond. It comea across as the interviewer wants to ask questions he wants to know for himself and then move onto another topic when he gets the answer he wants. This is one of the main issues with music production content. Alot is either people who know their stuff musically but dont understand how to teach or they try to interview guests but dont know how to interview effectively. The latter is fairly easy once you are shown how. I am surprised though that the guest didnt got nuts and tell the interviewer to shut up lol

Hey guys, I have been reading the comments here and I have the feeling to clarify a few things. First of all, I do hear your critics and take them seriously. However on the other side I still think this is a great video and feature about Blawan. I have spoken also personally to him to get his feedback about the way of handling the interview and he has no problem at all with that style and enjoyed the feature a lot. So maybe most people don't know: Jamie (Blawan) and I do know us since a few years and therefore I wanted to keep the interview interactive and in a certain flow like two guys talking about nerdy stuff, because there were so much content to talk about in such a limited period of time and I wanted to cover a broad spectrum of it. If you compare this interview with the other ones, the Q&A section takes much longer (approx. 20mins). On the other hand, my main profession is not being an interviewer and V-Blogger in first place and doing this in a livestream situation was my very first experience. So please bare with me. Having said this, I want to point out that the Thomann team and myself are investing a lot of time and energy to present such exclusive contents for you guys and all I can say is: keep things positive and be nice to each other. Especially in times of the pandemic we are all frustrated and I do feel that the comments here don't do justice to this great feature. Peace out.

What I said regarding fandom wasn't a hypothetical; I wasn't saying "perhaps IF I were a fan, I *might* be livid" -- I'm saying the only reason I wasn't livid is I am not a big enough fan to care about his studio work, but without a question *I* would care if I were. All the sound you hear is coming from the looper, then he creates a new sound with the modular and loop it again. Also you can overdub existing loops and add some new. He's creating multiple layers of sound and with the rc505 he has 5 different channels / tracks to record.
