You’re pretty awesome by the way. FYI I just bleached my 1 inch brown roots last night. Holy cow! What a nightmare, but my husband ended up helping me do the back of my head. My hair came out platinum perfect! I used BlondeMe. Thanks for posting. It is lots of work, but so worth it in the end.

It looks great! But honestly, I would bleach the roots, but that’s just my preference. That way you kind of start fresh and with the same color all over and then your roots can start to grow back in and it’ll look more natural and probably less harsh, if that makes sense.

next time to help the roots blend into the ends better you could do a shadow root with a semi permanent colour! This way you wont have to be as precise with the bleach and it may be easier!

You are a level 3/4 natural.If you weaved a few baby lights at the part put your foil over the board put under the weave use same bleach with 30 vol. peroxide fold the foil process heat from the scalp will bring the hair up faster. You can use a hair blower to speed the heat to activate. This will soften your part dilute redken shades with clear smudge into the babe lights while hair is damp.This will soften the darkness . Very fine baby light weaves at part 2 rows on each side. Add olaplex 1 1/8 0z. to bleach if you can purchase online.

I think you did a really good job, especially considering you had no help. You chose good quality products and you sectioned your hair well. Yeah, the sections were too big but you figured that out on your own, and even so, I was amazed at how well it came out, even after the first round of bleach. The finished product looks better than mine did the last time I went to a salon so ... good job!

I feel like a lot of professional hairstylists low key hate that people that aren’t pros sometimes use stuff they use. I don’t have a license but I work at Sally’s and can shop at cosmoprof and I KNOW it makes ppl I know that are LC’s feel some type of way lol. If everyone picks up on what they use and buys it on Amazon or other sites, that’s “less business from those who went to school for it”. You DO YOU girl lol it’s your hair

@stephaniemoreno3333

Mannn I’ve literally been debating doing this to my hair! Considering you did it yourself it looks great ❤️ have you considered doing only the bottom half, waiting for it to process, wash out and then do the top half? That’s what I’m debating doing with 30 volume.
@jnako4361
3 жыл бұрын
Never use 30 volume when bleaching on scalp! 20 will do the job you just need to give it time and wrap it with foil( to keep bleach from drying out). never start at root! Always midsection‘s first let that process in foil. then go back and do root cause heat from your head will process faster! And really educate yourself before you go and do that and a long process even for a professional! Good luck!

Love it it is very pretty. You can do Coverfusion on roots from Redken they have shades 10 which is a lighter blonde. Also make sure you use a mask at the end of shampoo the Olaplex 3 is a bond builder not a conditioner or mask. It is to be used before shampoo and conditioner. Great job tho.
@SamaraJordan

Oh ok lol guess i misunderstood about how you used it. Sounds like you know what your dong so far tho and yes so many different great brands and toners I'm learning because I do my own hair for about a year now. @dolcevita713

Girl just use a hair cap for the highlights, please use volume 30 with that bleach since your hair is dark. Also the wells toner you should have used is t14 with wells 050 additive use that with volume 10 developer. And it’s ok to bleach closer to the scalp... leave about 1/4 inch Of hair for a shadow root.

30 or 40 volume for the mid shaft and 10 volume or less for the roots. So they’re either the same blonde or a little darker. But it won’t be patchy like that. 🙂
